Shelby's P.O.V

All of us had left max alone for awhile to rest and recover. By then it had gotten pretty late and everyone had left the offices. Only Max, Sky, Ross, and I were the only ones there. I was in the meeting room listening to Ross and sky plan out some office stuff and had gotten really bored, so I went into the other room to check on max. I came in only to hear him snoring and decided to wake him up just to be annoying. "Hey! Wake up!". I said bouncing on the couch he was sleeping on. "Nooooo it's not time to get up yeeeeet jeerrrrrkkkk.". He said turning over. " Cmon! You've been asleep for three hours get up!". I responded cheerfully. "Ugh FINE.". Max said sitting upwards " all this magic stuff is kinda crazy huh?". "Yea no kidding, I'm still trying to get over that I saw a talking flower, and that that flower possessed my cousin......" I paused. "You don't think it will appear again, do you?". I said a bit scared, shaking slightly. Then he put his arm around me and pulled me in and said "Don't worry about it. We'll be fine.". I blushed and smiled in his arms. To be honest I kind of enjoyed it, I felt safe. Then max quickly unwrapped his arms off of me, and said "Uh... I h-haven't seen sky or Ross in awhile maybe we should-". Then max was interrupted by a loud crash from the meeting room. Max and I looked at each other and jumped up to see Sky hanging on to ross's hand as he was getting sucked into a portal. "Speaking of the devil.". I said. "SKY HOLD ON!.". Ross shouted as max came to help him try to pull Sky back in. However, The portal's magic was too strong and it sucked Sky in. I started to panic I didn't know what to do, so I jumped into the portal after Sky, followed by max and Ross. This was about to get messy.
