Ch. 21

I could feel my stomach turn we were currently in Ohio so Colby could meet my family I pulled my bag behind me as I followed Colby to our rental car "should we go check in first" Colby asked he knew I was nervous "babe" he let go of his luggage and placed his hands on my shoulders "breathe" I closed my eyes and leaned on him "it will be okay if they start we will leave" 

"okay" I smiled I was happy he was being understanding on how they are. We made our way to our hotel 

"room 17" the clerk handed Colby the keys then we headed down the hall

As we were walking Colby had to jump do the cleaning cart almost hitting him I could hear the lady screaming I'm sorry but I didn't see her Colby just nodded it was fine and we continued until I heard my name being called I turned to see Linda 

"Krystal" she held her hands up against her mouth she came over and hugged me I gave her one back "it so nice to see you again" 

"I know it's nice seeing you to" I smiled I looked at Colby who had a weird look on his face "Colby this is Linda Jon's mom" 

He looked at me then shook her hand "I know who you are you sold out to the authority whatever they call it on tv" she laughed "I see you ran into Jon" 

"yes I did" I laughed

"oh I miss the old days they used to cause so much trouble in the neighbor hood my old neighbors still remember all about those time" she laughed "Jon bought me a house out of the area"

I was surprised "that's good that neighbor hood was bad" 

"listen I have to get back to work don't be afraid to visit me I see your parent's here and there they won't say a word to me still" she shrugged "it was nice to see you" she smiled walking away 

We walked into the room and placed our bags down I looked at the clock 3pm it said "we can go tomorrow" I suggested 

He laughed shaking his head no "we have to leave early tomorrow" we stood there in silence "you want to shower and go get it down or just go"

I shrugged "let's get this done with" I stood up 

We made our way around town "was it always this bad looking" he asked me 

"yeah this is the area Jon grew up" I looked out memories flooded back "see that diner" he nodded "we got banned from there" 

He laughed shaking his head "you two were bad"

I nodded "we got banned from a lot of placed the cops hated us" we both laughed "turn at the light" We pulled down my street "the second house after we pass the stop sign" we parked on the street 

Colby placed his hand on mine "I'm here for you" he reassured me "when is the last time you seen them"

I looked down "10 years ago" we got out and walked up the door I knocked I looked at him "no one home" I went to turn but the door opened my mom stood there 

"Krystal" she smiled pulling me into a hug "how are you" 

"good" I faked a smile "this is Colby" 

She shook his hand "come on in" we walked in "we were just getting ready for dinner join"

We walked in I looked over and seen my dad he just nodded "hey look who came back" he teased

Dinner was ate in silence my mom stood up and started to clear the table "so Colby what do you do for a living" 

"I wrestle for the WWE" oh boy I was ready for my dad's reaction 

He nodded "that's awesome you big in the company" 

Colby eyed me I looked at my dad "yeah" he replied I stood up and marched into the kitchen where my mom was 

"why is dad all cool about him being in wrestling but he wasn't cool with Jonathon" I yelled 

She shook her head "he was a bad guy terrible influence on you"

"not to mention he got you in trouble with the law a lot" my dad and Colby walked through 

"I agreed to do all that with him I even was the one who suggested it" I yelled 

Colby's hands came on my shoulders 

"who was the one who decided to sneak in the old gym building of the school" my dad crossed his arms 

I had to think about it "him" he raised his hands "but it was my decision to write our names in the stalls" he shook his head "I was the one who got us arrested for the fight in the diner" 

"babe" Colby pulled me back "why are you getting so upset you knew this already" 

"I know" I let out a breathe "let's go" I walked past him walking out the door I was to pissed to stay 

"Colby" my dad yelled from the door I laughed

I walked towards him "what you want you going to offer him money to leave me" his facial expression dropped "yeah I found out thanks to Reid"

"so he found you" he laughed "what was your excuse on running from him"

I titled my head "I don't love him I never did" I shouted I took a deep breathe "that's why I'm here I'm filing for a divorce so I can marry the guy I love" I grabbed Colby's hand 

He shook his head walking back inside "silly girl always been" he slammed the door 

"well that went good" Colby laughed 

I gave him a look then got in the car I was ready to leave Ohio 

Jon POV

Renee and I sat in the catering waiting for the show to start I looked over and seen Colby walk in laughing then sitting at the table behind me 

"how it go this weekend" Cesaro asked him 

"her father was nice" my eyes widened he met her family 

I turned around "did you tell him what you do for a living" I asked he nodded "and he didn't say shit" 

"no we actually sat down and had dinner peacefully" he smirked 

I felt Renee's hand on my shoulder I stood up kicking my chair looking for her I finally found her in hair and make up "so they were okay with him"

She nodded "isn't that bullshit" she replied "you were apparently a bad influence" she rolled her eyes "I told him I knew about the deal" 

"how he take it" I crossed my arms 

She shrugged tilting her head back "he didn't even care"  I shook my head "but while I was there I saw your mom that was really nice of you to buy her a house out of the bad" 

I smirked "she deserved it" I sat down 

"don't you have somewhere to go" one if the hair dressers asked I pulled my hand up to look at my invisible watch 

"nope" I grinned making Krystal laugh 

"Krystal a guy who claims to be your father is here" a worker came up she looked at me 

I started to walk "Jon don't" she grabbed my arm as much as I wanted to go punch him in the face I had to respect her wishes I walked her over where her dad was as I stayed in the back as soon as he looked up and seen me I waved smirking
