Ch. 22

"what do you want" I asked my dad 

He looked over my shoulder at Jon then rolled his eyes before focusing back on me "I see he hasn't changed"

"he has but this visit isn't about him now is it" I crossed my arms

He coughed looking down then back up "I looked into your new boyfriend Colby and I am surprised on how much he's given back" he pulled out papers "I had Reid sign all there needs is yours" 

I looked at him as I took the papers I looked down they were divorce papers I looked back up at him "why"

He shrugged "I missed a lot of years of your life because of the choices and things I did to make you stay away and after talking with your mom we like to be apart of your life again" 

I let out a exhale thinking about it I looked back at Jon who shook his head "I don't know I mean you messed up my life only at age 17 you paid my best friend to leave me"

"Krystal we already told you he wasn't a good influence" he shook his head 

I raised my arm back at Jon "he wasn't a bad influence though he was there for me when I needed someone you or mom weren't" I stepped closer "did you know the real reason I quit the cheerleading squad was because I was being picked on you or her weren't there to help me get through it he was, the guy I went with homecoming with the one you liked he tried to rape me but thanks to Jon he saved me. You and mom were gone so much, to caught up in work to even notice Anthony was being bullied at school but guess who stopped that" I went quiet "Jon did" I shook my head "he's been there for me more then you and mom has been so I don't want to hear how bad he was I went along with everything he didn't force me" 

"I'm sorry" he was shocked 

"you know what I'll call you when I'm not angry" I turned 

As I turned I was greeted by Colby with his arms crossed "you were really sticking up proving to your dad how less of an asshole he was" he shocked his head "why are you so up tight on this situation"

"because they weren't there for me he was and they put him out to be the bad guy" I was pissed 

"it's the past Krystal" he stopped and looked at me "are we going to focus on us or him" 

I looked at him weird "excuse me I've always been about us"

"but lately it's been about him" he yelled he looked around shaking his head "come find me when your done trying to prove to your family he's changed" he walked off

I stood there shocked "damn that was cold" Jon came around the corner hearing everything I hit his shoulder "want to grab a beer"

"or maybe we should lay off of us hanging" I walked away

"Krystal company meeting in a few Vince would like everyone to head to the catering" a worker stopped me I just nodded and walked over I seen Colby standing there alone

"I'm sorry" I looked down playing with my fingers "I shouldn't have focused on him" 

He wrapped his arm around me "it's fine just focus on us from now" I nodded

"they have you what" I looked at AJ

"teaming with Jon but makes no sense with him still being in the storyline with Colby" she was lacing her boots up 

"weird" I shrugged "you excited for money in the bank Sunday" she nodded "I'm hoping Colby wins" I looked at her 

"I'm going to root for my partner Jon" she shrugged "I'll be back" 

I sat down watching the tv waiting for her clip Jon was standing there spacing around she tipped toed "excuse me"

"what you want" he stretched his arms

"the same thing you want victory" she smiled swirling her hair around Jon looked at her weird "I have a plan" the camera faded 

I was joined by Renee "how's things with you and Colby" I shrugged "Jon kinda mentioned you two were fighting"

"I was to busy trying to prove to my dad Jon wasn't the type of guy who he thinks he is Colby was getting mad I was more focus on that then him" I rolled my eyes back to the screen

She nodded then looked away as her name was being called she walked off with out saying a thing 

Jon POV

"so they want us to team together" I looked at AJ as she nodded "and Krystal will team with Colby" she nodded again "hmm" I looked around 

"see you out there" she winked skipping off I shook my head walking back to catering to see Renee as I past I seen Colby standing there talking to Cesaro I could over hear them talking about his visit with Krystal's parent's 

"yeah I just haven't met her brother she mention him here and there in the past" I heard him reply I looked down and stopped "what" he looked at me 

I looked around "you won't be able to met her brother"  I squinted my eyes

He laughed pointing at me looking at Cesaro "see this" he laughed again "dude she's my fiance" 

"yeah a fiance that just met the family" Cesaro joking 

I looked at him she didn't tell him I backed off "she didn't tell you about him" I questioned he shook his head "he committed suicide on his 13th birthday" 

"why didn't she tell me" he questioned himself 

"she don't talk about it that's why she blames herself" I looked over and seen Krystal walking this way 

She wrapped her arms around Colby's back Cesaro at this point had left Colby looked at her "why didn't you tell me about your brother" she looked at him oddly then looked over at me 

"what the fuck dude" she let go of him and looked at me shaking her head "you told him" 

I placed my hands up "I thought you told him already I mean out of 2 years of being with him you haven't even mentioned him and everything"

I could tell her blood was boiling her fist where tight Colby noticed he pulled her into him "you can tell me later when ever you want to and when your ready" 

She just nodded and walked off with Colby.
