Frisk ran to Gaster's lab when she heard the news.

Frisk had finally freed everyone and somehow managed to get Gaster back.

But now she was extremely worried as she ran out of the elevator.

She saw Gaster right beside Sans.

"Are you sure?" Frisk asked Gaster and looked at a dull looking Sans.

"Like I told you. He lost all of his determination and will to live. But he's still alive since his magic is keeping him stable for now." Gaster said.

"Sans?" Frisk called. Sans slowly looked up at her to see his normal wide grin upside-down.

Frisk flinched when she saw Sans state. Of course she felt bad, what would you feel when the person you love doesn't have a will to live anymore. And it might have been her fault when Sans was going to pick her up for a date and saw her with another human who actually was her cousin. Sans got hurt and might have lost his determination because of that.

"Can we give him determination?" Frisk asked.

"Yes, but we don't have any left." Gaster said. Frisk thought and thought, until she finally had an answer.

"I'll give all of mine."

Gaster's head snapped towards Frisk with wide eyes. "Are you sure? You might get killed!"

"I'll do it." she said with a determined look on her face. "For Sans."

Gaster hesitated then nodded. He grabbed Sans and pulled him towards the newly improved DT Extractor with Frisk following behind them.

Gaster connected the extractor to a glass tube where he shoved Sans in.

Frisk willingly went in the extractor.

"Are you certainly sure about this?" Gaster asked one last time. Frisk smiled and nodded.

Gaster turned on the extractor as it slowly took Frisk's determination, little by little, and giving it to Sans.

Once Sans had enough determination to realize what's going on, he looked at Frisk to see her eyes starting to droop.

He banged on the tube hard and shouted for them to stop, to free Frisk. But it was too late. As the extractor shut down Frisk was unconscious. Sans immediately ran towards her when the tube flew open.

"Because of her lack of magic, she can't live..." Gaster explained.

"Don't die, don't die..." Sans sobbed.

"You have new determination... Not Frisk's but yours. Your determination to save Frisk. It's enough to make you live." Gaster said as he scanned the data.

"Please! We have to save her!" he screamed.

"There is one way..."

"What? I'll do anything!" Sans said.

"You have to give her back her determination, by putting your soul near hers..."

Sans cheeks tinted blue. "What?!?"

Showing souls is intimate for monsters, except for battles. And it's most intimate for two souls to be at least a meter close to each other.

"It's the only way."

Sans hesitated but showed Frisk's soul. It was empty. He showed his soul and both souls immediately went beside each other, much to his surprise.

The empty soul would back away like it didn't need help, but the blue soul refused amd would chase it. After a few seconds it stopped backing away and stayed beside the blue one. The blue one suddenly rubbed itselft on the other which made Sans sweat. It kept rubbing on the empty soul, until it rubbed back. It started to fill with a red colour. Frisk gasped with breath and sat up.

"Is Sans okay?" she asked immediately. She saw Gaster staring intently and turned her gaze towards it. Sans was there swaeting with his left eye blaring blue. She followed Sans sight to see their souls, rubbing against each other.

She stares at them with interest, curiousity biting her. They started to rub harder and Frisk felt uncomfortable. She felt Sans hold her hand. They rubbed harder and harder which caused Frisk to squeeze Sans' hand, and he squeezed back. Their deep breaths are what rang in each others ears, their souls the only sight they saw, and their hands the only thing they felt.

Frisk lightly moaned which she covered her mouth and snapped Gaster. He quickly dragged their souls away from each other.

"That's enough." Gaster said.

"Oh, the two of you have been naughty~" a robotic voice said. "My O-OTP!!!" a shy stuttering voice say. "The punks are finally together!" A loud voice say. "I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT HAPPENED WITH SANS'S AND THE HUMAN'S SOUL." a high pitched booming voice say.

They turned to see Mettaton, Alphys, Undyne and Papyrus standing behind Gaster.

"How did you guys get here?" Frisk asked.

"W-when Dr Gaster s-said there was somet-thing wrong w-with Sans. We hur-ried here to find y-you guys at t-the True Lab..." Alphys explained.

"I cannot believe you two darlings almost did it!~" Mettaton said which made the two blush and look away.

"And you two nerds are holding hands, fuhuhuhu..." Undyne teased. Sans scooted beside Frisk and held her hand tighter.

"CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT JUST HAPPENED?" Papyrus said.

"Sans was sharing his determination to Frisk so she would live. Sans earned determination to save Frisk after she gave all her determination to Sans." Gaster exclaimed. Papyrus looked confused but decided not to question it.

"Sans, next time... tell that soul of yours 'Don't come near my soul' so no accidents would happen." Frisk said.

"I can't do that once I marry you." Sans said with a wink. Frisk rolled her eyes but smiled anyways. "And tell that other human you hang out with 'Don't come near my Frisk' or he's going to have a bad time." Sans added.

"Sans, he was my cousin. I promise. I love you, and only you." Frisk said and hugged him.

"Fine, I won't hurt him..." Sans said and hugged back.
