The sun had set and Frisk sighed in relief.

"Another day finally finished." she said to the cold air.

It was the first day of spring and the winter air still hasn't vanished as Frisk sat on top of their house.

She watched as the moon slowly rose up.

Her straight face finally dispersed but turned into a frown.

She groaned in frustration as she remembered the meeting with some Anti-Monster parties.

"This stress might kill me..." se mumbled.

"Hey kiddo..."

She yelped with a jump and turned to look at her skeleton best friend.

Her straight face came back as she closed her eyes.

"You can drop that straight face of yours, pokerface. It's just me and I already know about that." he said with a slight chuckle.

This caused Frisk to frown even more than before, "You drop the happy expression too, pokerface. I know you have some problems too..." she said as she opened her eyes to stare at Sans' disappearing grin.

He sighed and sat beside her at the edge of the roof.

"What's stressing you today, kiddo?" he asked.

"I'll tell you if you tell me your problems." she says.

His lips pressed into a thin line as he stared at the bright moon.

"I know you do... I've seen you dropped the grin before..." she mumbled trying to let him crack.

"Fine... it's nightmares."

Frisk's head snapped towards him instantly with wide eyes.

"I've always had them since you fell to the Underground." he said as he chuckled lowly before frowning again.

"About Papyrus turning into dust... Monsters with fear written on their faces... Alphys evacuating helpless monsters... Seeing my friends die... Even see myself get a large cut and turn to dust... It keeps coming into me at night...." he whispers into the air loud enough for Frisk to hear.

Her eyes fill with tears as she sobbed guiltily. She finally knew why he had slight bags under his eyes. Why he was always overprotective towards his brother. How he always reacts when she holds a knife to cook dinner.

"I'm sorry... I'm so so sorry... I never meant to..." she cried out and looked down into her hand picturing her holding a knife covered in dust.

"Being ambassador is hard... But keeping control from Chara is too much. I can't keep fighting forever and I'm scared I might hurt you guys. I am so scared. I rarely sleep thinking Chara might take control while I'm vulnerable. I'm always tired and my job as ambassador isn't helping."

Sans stared at her as he processed what she said. He now understands why she always drinks coffee. Why she wears makeup to cover the stress and tiredness on her face. How she's always restless.

They both finally knew each others secrets which they were willing to keep. Though they both kept one in particular out from each other's minds.

Frisk sobbed out once more before looking up.

Her tears froze to her face at the cold air and she shivered in her thin pajama.

Sans took off his hoodie and put it on Frisk.

She sniffed and nodded her head in thanks.

"So... no more secrets?" Sans asked her as he scooted closer to her to give her more warmth.

"I... still have one more..." she whispers her teeth chattering slightly.

Sans holds her in his lap and wrapped his arms around her. Frisk flushes and buried her head in his chest.

"Warm?" Sans asked and Frisk meekly nodded.

"What's the secret?"

Frisk tensed then gave put a shaky breath. She slightly pulled away to look at Sans with determination on her face.

"I love you." she says.

Sans grins and pulled her back into his arms.

"I love you too..."
