Chapter 3: The Ball

“ALEC!” his little sister Izzy yelled as she jumped on his back.

“Hey izzy”

“How are you feeling alec” she said with a look of concern.

“A little nervous, but confident” he said while giving here a reassuring smile.

“Don't worry the ball will be a success and if not you'll find that special someone.” she hugged him as she began to walk to the garden to meet with her boyfriend Simon.

Alec smiled as he watched her leave. “I hope so he whispered” to himself.

Magnus had finished all his chores.

He started them first thing in the morning. The mice saw that he would not be able to find an outfit in time so they made him a little surprise.

His brothers and mother were getting ready for the ball.  Sebastion had picked out a green suit that brought out his green eyes perfectly. He slicked his hair with gel and put on his black suede shoes. Johnathan had on a purple suit, and black shoes as well, he left his hair messy saying it was sexy. His mother wore a lavender dress with black gloves and violet heels. Her purple hair was perfectly curled and her nails painted black like her soul.

As magnus finished his very last chore he made his way to his bedroom defeated because how could he go if he had little time to find something the where.

He fiddled With his ring and gave a sad and defeated sigh as he opened his bedroom door to find the biggest surprise of his life.

His mice and bird friends had fashioned a slight pink suit with hot pink trim. There were tiny white bows by the cuffs of the jacket and it was Glittering in the moonlight. They also paired it with white shoes and a shiny necklace that the mice had taken from Sebastian and Johnathans room.

Magnus thanked them and began to get ready. He spiked his hair up his once golden tips now pink and Glittery. He put on some black eyeliner that he has found in the old things he found that were his mother's. He finished the touch with a light shade of pink eyeshadow and lipstick.

His step mother called for him saying they were heading to the ball and magnus ran so the steps.

“WAIT!!!” he screamed

His mother and stepbrothers gasped at his appearance.

Suddenly Sebastian and Johnathan screamed and their mother stood shocked.

“BY THE ANGEL!!! Is that my necklace”they yelled.

Seb and John started to rip apart magnus suit as magnus cried for them to stop.

Lillith only stood and smirked.

When the cruel boys were done magnus was left in tears and a torn suit.

“Now magnus it seems you can not accompany us. What a pity. Boys come along we have a ball to get to.”

“Yes mother”both boys answered as they innocently smiled while following their mother to their carriage.

Magnus quickly fled to the back of the house and cried out on a bench that he and his mother used to sit at when he was younger. His mother would always tell him stories that this place was magical.

As he cried the mice saw their friend and they were full of rage. Raphael wanted to bite those two snotty brothers and give them a taste of their own medicine for hurting his friend.

As magnus weeped a spark of magic occurred and a portal opened up to reveal a beautiful women. She had hair as white as snow and wore some type of blue cloak. In her hand she held a magnificent wand.

“Who are you” magnus asked curiousity getting the best of him.

I, my dear boy, am Catarina your fairy godmother. I am here to make your dream of going to the ball come true. Now stop Crying sweetheart and let me see a smile.” she said while stroking his cheek gently and giving him a warm smile.

Magnus smiled and slowly began to stand up. “so you can help me attend the ball?”

“Yes, no let's see oh yes that will do” she said while staring at a huge pumpkin and wavubg her wand while saying the word “bibbity bobbity boo”

Suddenly the pumpkin transform into a beautiful golden and white carriage that had a beautiful structure of flowers.

Okay We need horses she said while clicking her tongue and thinking. She saw the mice and turned them into four gorgeous white horses. Rapheal and ragnor managed to escape the spell but instead were turned into a driver and footmen.

Magnus stood by shocked and amazed at the same time .

Catarina smiled and said “oh well this will do indeed.” she turned to magnus and her smile faltered to a frown. “ This won't do at all” she said looking at magnus torn suit.

She waved her wand at magnus and recited the same spell.

Magnus closed his eyes to afraid to see what she would do.

Suddenly magnus was no longer wearing his torn suit but instead a light gliterized short sleeved shirt, with blue trousers that hugged his curves perfectly. His hair was styled with spikes but instead of pink tips he now had white colored tips. His pink eyeshadow was a mixture of white and blue. He had a black choker and a pear of pearl earrings. The biggest surprise were the glass slippers, they were iridescent. He was a sight to behold, a beautiful one at that.

Magnus spinned around admiring his fairygodmother's work.

“Much better”Cat Said.

“Thank you so much” miss Catarina.

“Oh please call me cat and yoh must hurry. The magic will wear of at the strike of midnight so you mustn't stay long.” Cat expounded

“What about my step mother and brothers.”magnus aaked

“They won't recognize you, trust me I've taken care of everything. Now go and enjoy your night. ”

“Thank you again and I will” he said as he entered the carriage with the help of Ragnor and made his way to the ball.

Catarina waved him Goodbye as he smiled and waved back.

This was it he was going to the ball. His dream has come true.
