He was the strength, and she was the brains. Nothing seemed impossible to them. In his eyes, she was everything to him. He would do anything for her. She knew he was putty in her hands.
Love burns and so does fire. She took advantage of his love, setting it ablaze. He found her in his bed with another, someone similar to him. No matter how much she apologized, rage burned inside his heart.
He smashed a vase and a picture. Tears streamed down her face like the rainfall on a dreary day. The second man was beat, his body scrambling out of the room with a will to live. She looked to her original lover, torn. He set fire to the world around him but never let a flame touch her. He still loved her.
Despite being hurt, he accepted her back into his arms. The dove and the snake. Eventually the snake killed the dove with a brokenheart. She visited his grave, tossing flowers down. As she walked away, the sun shined on his engraved tombstone. "Fire is beautiful until it burns you." Love burns and so does fire.
