Chapter 7: Torn Apart

The floor was a gigantic puddle. A puddle full of hate, sorrow, and regret. A puddle of blood. What drove this 14 year old boy to hurt himself. Was it Cyrus Goodman? Was it Amber? Or was could it have been Andi Mack? The world might never why Jonah did it. Unless!?........He pulls through. As you are this introduction Jonah is laying in his restroom the walls and floor covered in blood. The razor blade centimeters from his arm. He's pale and his eyes are closed. His hair has lost its shine and color and he has gone limp. No one is home, if that's what you're asking. You see, this boy basically has no family. He's looking for love and affection. But after his crush did "that"to him, he was heartbroken. Jonah's Dad was very abusive when he was little. When he was 7 his Dad came back drunk and slapped Jonah, punched him, and started to strangle him. His Mom pulled his Dad off of him. But after Jonah's Dad was done with him he started hurting his Mom. That night was a terrible one for the child.After that altercation, Jonah's Mom knew it was time to leave. Little did Jonah know that his Mom would only be at the house 3 Days a week. Oh even I feel bad for him and you know what's worse: It was rumored that Jonah was raped....by his father. Poor Jonah................All he wanted was love😪

Andi's POV:
It was 5:45 and Andi was getting ready for her "date" with Jonah. I'm so excited that I'm finally gonna go on a date with Jonah. Calm yourself Andi. Don't ruin your big shot with the most popular boy at Jefferson Middle School well.....most popular Freshman at Grant High School. Should I put on lipstick? Yes?No?Yes?No?
"I think you should" Bex said while leaning against the door
"BEX YOUR HERE!!" I said

"Umm I've been here for months plus I was in Chapter 3 calm yourself Andi."
I'm sorry I've had total mood swings all week I don't know what's happening to me. Right now I have no friends.
"No friends?" Bex said
"Yeah no friends!" I said

Bex: What about Cyrus?
Andi: Yeah, I didn't take it well when he came out to me.
Bex: He came out to you?!
Andi: Yeah, Why?
Bex: Oh it's cause he told me earlier than you I think.
Andi: What the hell, ur just my dumb Mom, he trusts you more than me, what the fuck.
Bex: Hey don't talk to me like that young lady or you're not going out.
*Andi gives Bex a death stare*
Bex: Well, I'm happy for Cyrus
Andi: I don't know if I am cause....
Bex:*cough <Jonah> cough cough*
Andi: *snickers*
Bex: Ok now get out of here.
Andi: Wh y? So you make another baby! Omg What did I just say? Mom!!!!

Bex runs away crying. Andi feeling ashamed over her actions. She tears up, but not a lot. Her mascara is still looking fleek. She hops on her scooter and rides to The Spoon.

Cyrus's POV:
Well I'm starving! I can't wait for some baby taters. Oh and for Jonah's sausage. And MILKSHAKES TOO! Jonah's white and salty milkshake hmmmmmm. Snap out of it Cyrus! I slap my face and wiggle it. I take a deep breath of fresh air knowing that I'm gonna have a relaxing dinner with my friend Buffy. Buffy and I had the best time at her house last night. We talked shit about Andi. We also talked about Jonah. Since Buffy's a girl it wasn't hard to talk about Jonah or boys in a "dirty" way. I liked talking about boys as much as she did. We really bonded last night. And since I'm gay, she let me sleep in the same bed with her..BFF GOALS! I reach the diner and I open the door. With two hands, obviously, cause I'm not that strong. I'm pretty scrawny and I think Jonah will like that. Oh my, I still haven't apologized to him. I didn't mean anything I said. I'll apologize after dinner, hopefully it isn't too late. I go inside the diner and I see Buffy in a 2- seat booth. I gladly sit in front of her.
Buffy: Hey Cyrus!
Cyrus: Hey Buffy
Buffy: Longtime no see.
Cyrus: Dude, it's been 6 hours.

The waitress comes to take our order
"Hello, Suuuuu....zie" I said
"I'll have a large order of baby taters and a large vanilla milkshake" I said
"I'll have a doublemeat cheeseburger, hold the mayonnaise and ketchup, no pickles, extra cheese, I want 11 sesame seeds on the bun, and make sure that the crusts are cut off, jalapeno poppers, 2 pizza slices, a cheese danish, a hot dog, 6 pieces chicken nuggets, anddddddddd a fat free low sodium dark chocolate milkshake" Buffy says with sass
Susie: Ok.....it'll be out in a bit
She walks away*

Cyrus: Omg Buffy!
Buffy: Sorry Cyrus, I have to stay healthy, i know I could've had a regular milkshake, but I went for the healthier option.
Cyrus: Ok *laughs*

DING DING (the bell on the door rings)

Cyrus: It's just us 2 right?
Buffy: Of course
Cyrus: Then why is Andi standing right there?!

We both look towards her and she gives a death stare. She walks to our table.

Andi: Well look who's here. Backstabber Number 1 and Backstabber number 2.
Buffy: Shut up Andi!
Cyrus: Why are you even here?
Andi: Thanks for asking Cyrus, I'm actually on a date with Jonah. How do you feel about that?

My heart breaks knowing that Jonah is now Andi's Boyfriend. I stare at the table and I shed one tear. Just one.

Cyrus: WELL HOW DID JONAH ASK YOU?

Andi pulls out an envelope and gives it to me
Andi: He sent me a letter.
Cyrus: HE DID?!
Andi: Why so jealous, you didn't get one?
Cyrus: Actually I did...

Andi looked shocked and displeased. I pull out the letter from my jacket pocket and I place it on the table. I read her letter and I'm a bit puzzled.
Cyrus: Is this even supposed to be for you?
Andi: I thought the same thing but hey, it was in my mailbox.
Cyrus: Oh whatever Andi! Shut the fuck up and leave you bitch you're full of yourself and you can't even support your gay friend. Plus I think that letter was for me AND NOT YOU!
Andi: Whatever Cyrus your jealous because you didn't like your letter.
*She reads Cyrus's letter*
*Andi laughs uncontrollably*
Buffy: Andi LEAVE! NOW BEFORE I THROW YOU OUT! oh and where's your date?
Cyrus: Yeah Andi, did you get stood up!
*Cyrus and Buffy laugh and high five each other*

Andi: HES HALF AN HOUR LATE LET ME CALL HIM!
--------this caller cannot be reached at this time

Andi: He's not answering
Buffy: It's cause he hates you, you see, the letter lsent to Cyrus is for U!
Andi: Shut up

*I smile*
Buffy: I'll call him then
-------this caller cannot be reached at this time
Cyrus: See Andi that's my letter! And this one is meant for you! He hates you because honestly your a bitch!
Andi: Oh shut up gay faggot! We'll settle this letter mix up when we see Jonah!
Buffy: Guys he didn't pick up.
Cyrus: Something's wrong I feel it.
Andi: Oh classic paranoid Cyrus!
Buffy: He should've been here, he sent a letter to someone to go out to dinner.
Cyrus: I got to go find him.
*Suzie goes to the table*
"Here's your food" she says
Buffy: I'm sorry we have to go. Here's a 50 dollar bill for the troubles.
Cyrus: You're coming with me?
Buffy: Of course BFF
*Buffy and Cyrus run out of The Spoon leaving Andi inside sitting by herself*
Andi: Hey Suzie can I have their meal.....ummm...they're my friends and they paid already so....?
*suzie gives her all the food*
Andi: thanks.
Suzie leaves*
Andi: dumb cunt

Buffy: So do you wanna check the park?
Cyrus: No, just follow me.
Buffy: Ok, but where are we going?
*Cyrus was silent*

"His house" I said.
