~The year is 1987-Soda is 21 and Bella is 20.~

I sip my hot tea as I stare out the window in the kitchen, yawning slightly as a tired Soda walks into the room in nothing but messy hair and boxers. He smiles at me as he walks over to me and wraps his arms tightly around my waist, kissing my cheek.

"Mornin' beautiful." He tiredly whispers into my ear, nuzzling his face into my neck. "Good moring, sleepy head." I say as I set my tea down on the counter and turn around to face him, wrapping my arms around his neck. He sighs happily as his eyes dart around the small kitchen.

"Still can't believe we have our own place now. It's unbelievable." I watch him closely as his eyes dart around the room, before slowly reconnecting with mine. "I know, it's insane." "But, ya' wanna know something?" He asks me raising an eyebrow. I nod confusingly at him.

"I wouldn't have it any other way." He sighs this into my neck before kissing it lightly, making me squeal out as my feet get lifted off the hardwood and my bum connects with the counter. "Same here." I sigh happily as I glaze into his eyes, making me get chills.

"Oh lordy, I am so unbelievably in love with you." As he says this, my cheeks instantly heat up, making me look away from him. He finger slides under my chin and turns my head back towards him, smiling his oh so beautiful smile. "Yo-" A loud knocking on the door interrupts him. He groans as he turns around and starts to walk towards the door as I hop off the counter and pick it up, bringing it to my lips and sipping lightly.

A few seconds later, Soda and a very tired looking Ponyboy stumbles into the room, Johnny right behind. "Hey, guys." I smile at them as they enter. "How ya' doing, Bellapop?" Pony leans against the counter as he asks me this, Johnny hopping on to one of the bar stools we had placed down the night before, leaning onto his elbow. "Okay, can't complain." I smile at him, shrugging slightly.

"The party is here!" Two stumbles into the room, carrying a beer in his hands, and behind him stumbled in the rest of the boys. ''Beer for breakfast again, Two?" Soda nudges him in the shoulder as he walks back into the room, his head popping out of the whole in his shirt that he currently was putting on. I take this time to let my eyes linger up and down his body, sightly disappointed as my eyes land upon his jean covered thighs, making me pout. He notices this and winks at me before walking over to the fridge and grabbing a water.

"Yano it." Two winks at him as he tips his beer towards him then taking a sip of it. The room fell silent for a few seconds, the only sounds heard was the sipping of Two's beer and everyone's breathing. Pony decides to break this silence up by grabbing an apple and taking a bite before pointing at Soda.

"Darry is coming over by later today after work, he wanted me to tell ya'.'' Soda nods before smiling nervously at me. I furrow my eyebrows together before nodding, shrugging my shoulders. I turned around to sit my tea down as the boys all laughed. I stroll past Soda, giving him a little peck on the cheek as I walk into the living room and cuddle up on the couch, turning on the TV.

Storm and Sadie, our new corgi that Two got me for my 20th birthday, all ran into the room and onto my lap. Storm laid down beside me, looking up at Soda and the gang as they walked into the room while Sadie sat on my lap, my hand gently petting her.

'' I still think we should've kept Sadie." Steve says as he plops down beside me on the couch, petting Storm. ''Noooo she's mine!" I pull Sadie closer to me, making Two laugh. "She'd kill ya' if you touched that dog. I think she loves it more than me." Soda says, sitting down on my other side, throwing an arm around the back of the couch.

''Shhhhh." I smile at him when I say this, a loud gasp coming from his mouth. Before he could speak, a knock on the door interrupts him. ''I guess later is now." Pony says from his spot on the floor. Soda groans as he gets up, walking to the door. ''The door is never locked, which I'm sure isn't safe but I mean, Dallas won't stop coming over at 2 in the flippin' morning!" I laugh out, making Dally glare at me.

''I still like the snake the most." Dally blows a puff of smoke into the air. "Same here." Johnny sits back against the couch beside Pony. '' He's sleeping right now." "Snakes sleep?" "Nooo, they just casually stay awake for their whole lives, not needing energy at all." Steve flips me off before Darry and Soda enter the room, there small talk coming to a halt as Darry eyes me.

"Hey guys." Darry waves at us before making his way over to the love seat and sitting beside Two. Silence is all you hear for a few seconds, making me notice how nervous Soda looks. "Um, hey Bells?" I raise my eyebrows at Two,still focused on the TV. "Could I get some water with lemon please?" "Lemon?" "Um, yeah, it's good for skin, I gotta look good yano." He winks at me as I slowly glare at him, but getting up anyways and setting Sadie on Soda's lap and walking into the kitchen.

I could hear the boys talking quietly in the living room as I slice the lemon and pour the water into the cup, setting the jug back into the fridge and sighing. I couldn't really hear what they was saying, but whatever it was it seemed like they didn't want me to know. I lean against the counter as I slowly pop the lemon into the water, looking out the window.

A few kids across the road scream out as they run around and play, laughing loudly. Smiling, I turn around and my eyes land upon the picture of Chelsea and I, making me frown. I walk up the to picture and pick it up, sighing. " I really miss you, and I'm pissed at you for leaving me. Tell mom I said hi." I set it down, wiping my hands on my shorts before I pick up Two's water, with lemon, and make my way into the living room.

As soon as I walk into the living room, the conversation dies down, everyone going silence. I raise my eyebrows but decide not to question it as I hand Two his water, a bright smile plasters across his face, making me smile back and flop back down onto the couch.

     "Thank ya, Bells."

"You're freezing." Soda tells me this as he crawls in bed beside me, making me shiver even more as he lifts up the cover to get closer to me. His legs tangle in with mine, and his arm wraps tightly around my waist as his other hand/arm is playing with my hair, his face burrowed into my neck.

"Really? I couldn't tell." I sigh out sarcastically. "Was that sarcasm I heard?" Soda leans up on his elbows as he says this, raising his left eyebrow. I shrug, smiling sheepishly. He leans down and pecks me on the lips before his hands tackle my sides, the sounds of our laughter quickly filling the room.

"You're an evil man, Sodapop Patrick." I squeal out, kicking around trying to escape his hold. He grabs a hold of my wrists and pin them down above my head, smirking down at me. "That wasn't what you were saying last night." He winks at me before he leans his face down, his other hand slowly sliding up my side, raising my shirt up. He places a soft kiss on my stomach, making me shiver. I look down at him and sigh. "Oh shut it.''
