The Festival

Gaara pov
Naruto changed his hair color,eyes, and height. He looked like me but with brown eyes. "Is it ok if I twin with you?" he asked. "I don't really care." I growled. He's an interesting kid.

But there's something he's not telling other than that he has nine-tails. "Thanks Panda-chan. Now let's go. There's gonna be a festival tonight and fireworks and candy. I can't wait to take you guys. The morning festivities aren't that great. They let you play in the river, do traditional hunting, play teambuilding games and stuff. But my favorite is the rock climb. It goes so high and people throw rocks at you so that you fall!" he said rambling on and on. "Cool but what's the night one like?" Temari asked him. He tensed and forced a smile.

"I hear it's great. It's got rides, dancing, spartan fights, and everyones favorite The Fox Hunt." he said. "You say it as if you have never been there before?" Lee said suspiciously. "Oh I'm not allowed. They let me be part of one thing though. The Fox hunt!" The hunt? Why is this hunt so important. "What's the big deal with the hunt anyways?" Zi asked pulling Jeane away from over spending at useless shops. "Um well the nine tails fox killed a lot a people before and the village got betrayed so of course the villagers were angry. So every year on October 10th they have a fox hunt. To torture the fox as revenge for the rest of his days." he explained as we reached the festival.

"Welcome!" A rosy faced man said from the counter. "Hello sir" I said and walked past him. "Panda-chan don't you want tickets?" Temari teased. "I'm not doing anything here." I snapped. It looked so lame. The only good rides were closed. "You never know I'll buy you five and Shion 10 ok?" she said. "Really?" Naruto gushed. She laughed and ruffled his hair. Now it looks even more messed up. I hate getting my hair ruffled.

"Gaara it wouldn't hurt to try and have some fun you know. He's trying to make us feel welcome." Neji whispered to me pulling my arm. "Whatever he's stupid. I bet he thinks you're blind." I snapped. "Hey! He's just a kid dude chill. He obviously doesn't have many if any friends. Be nice to him will ya? Besides you went through the exact same thing basically." he sassily replied. "You're such a-" "I wouldn't finish that sentence if I were you.Panda-chan" he growled before walking away. Damn he must think I'm a douchebag and an asshole.

"Gaara loosen up will you?" Lee said nervously. Naruto seemed nervous too. I glanced around us.Everyone was looking at us. They looked ready to kill even the kids. "Do you have a problem?" I asked no one in particular. "Yes. Actually we do. Someone let that demon in here. And worst of all he's brainwashed you all to think he's innocent. We see past that façade!" A fat man at a ramen stand shouted. "What demon?" Lee asked scared.

The man stuttered and pointed randomly at Temari. "He wears disguises. We know that one's him. Dressing as a girl how disrespectful." he snarled. "Dumbass that's my sister!" I said taking a step towards him. "Yeah right. No way can a girl your age have boobs like that.". Eww he's a perv. Temari brushed past me and grabbed him at the collar. "Listen up you perv! I am one year older than him. And I have big boobs. If you have a problem we can settle it right here right now. You have no clue who you're talking to." she snarled banging his head against the table with each word. "Temari he's not worth it." Lee said bravely.

She sighed and brushed her hands. "Good cause I almost chipped a nail. Now Shion you said you wanted to go to the waterfall right? Then let's go!" she said grabbing Naruto's hand and running away. "Gah wait for me! I wanna take pictures up there!" Jeane said running after them dragging Zi with him.

"I'm going to the teahouse. Anyone care to join me?" Neji asked all posh assed. "I do as I have never had tea before." Lee said walking after him. Guess I'm all alone.

I headed towards the cotton candy stand. A girl my age with brown skin and light blue hair was serving it. She seems nice at least.

"Hi" I muttered. "Hey. Want some cotton candy?" she said smiling brightly. "Sure why not." I said with a shrug. "My names Minami by the way. You can call me Mi Mi. What flavor?" "Blue raspberry. My names Gaara. I'm not from around here. A sort of friend took me here. We just met but he's cool." she smiled even more. "That's cool. My dad he owns this place but I have to work here every time it opens. But he pays so it's all good." she said handing it over. "Thanks." I said grabbing it careful not to make any contact. Don't get me wrong she's cool but I didn't come here to date. Besides she's not my type. "You seem cool. Wanna hang out some other time?" she asked flipping her hair out of her face. "Sure why not. You seem cool too. We can meet at the playground in downtown tomorrow at 3?" I said. She nodded before waving.

I walked away before she could she me almost barf. I'm bringing someone with me so that she'll understand that its not a date. Ew gross a date with her. "Gaara!" Neji said surprised as we bumped into each other. "Hyuuga." I replied. "I was just going too Teamri and Shion." he said blushing slightly. "Where's Lee?" I asked suspicious. "Tea shop. He's buying teabags for home." he said his blush going up. "You're blushing what happened?" I asked. "Um I was spying on someone..." he said shamefully. "Who?" I asked poking his shoulder. "...you...." he muttered. "Creep why?" "Well I've never seen you talk to a girl before so I was curious." he said defensively. Whatever. "Let's just go find Shion and Temari. Creep." I muttered and walked off. "Hey! I'm not a creep. Lee let's go now!" he yelled angirly.
