Shikamaru and Kiba

Menma pov

I sighed unhappily as Zi ran with Naruto to hide. I glared at Sakura for chasing them away and I pouted when Daddy said that he had to get back to the office. I sighed and went to my room plopping down on the bed.

"Fuck my life" I muttered. Sasuke, Kiba, and Shikamaru walked in worried. "Hey you okay bud?" Kiba asked.

"I'm fine" I answered and they all raced to my side. "Who fucked with you!" Shikamaru growled. "Sakura. She chased away Zi. Now I won't see him til like next week." I whined. "Tch you're such a drama queen. Who cares about that girl anyways? Zi decided to leave you. He could've stayed but he chose Naruto." Sasuke said darkly.

Zi wouldn't do that though. I am much to smart to believe that type of shit and Zi knows that I know. "What got into you?" I asked Sasuke and he rolled his eyes.

"Hmm do you like Naru-kun? Are you mad because he left you when he could've stayed" I teased. Shikamaru's eyes widened suddenly and he stared intensely at Sasuke. "Shit it all makes sense now..." Kiba muttered. "You must be gay to not like that pink haired beauty." he continued. I slapped his arm hard. Why aren't they paying attention to me. This is why they're here.

They continued to tease Sasuke for at least 15 more seconds and that is waaaay to long before Sasuke turned the attention back to me. "ANYWAYS! As I was saying. Zi must've had a good reason to leave all of a sudden with Naruto if I might add. He would never leave me." I said glaring at them slightly.

Shikamaru faltered a bit and stepped back. "Drinks anyone?" he asked. "Get me something hard." Kiba shouted while Sasuke shook his head. "A soft one for me thanks." I said sitting up in bed.

"Why are you gonna stay sober Sasu?" Kiba asked. "Somebody has to care of your drunk asses." he snarled and turned away. Shika came out with the drinks and we cheered.

"Now for the best part. Getting drunk!" Kiba yelled and gulped down his heavy drink. I sipped at mine slowly letting the sweet drink lull me out if reality.

Sasuke pov
Great just 10 minutes later and Kiba and Shika are making out and Menma is muttering random shit in a corner.

They all sobered up and Shikamaru screamed at his position on top of Kiba. He scrambled off of him and Kiba just stared in horror. "Welcome back to the real world guys." I laughed.

"Sasuke what happened?" Kiba asked his voice shaking. "You guys almost did the deed right in front of my virgin eyes. But thankfully you didn't cause you realized drunk consent is not real consent." I teased.

Kiba blushed heavily and Shikamaru touched his lips lightly. "Oh my god" he whispered softly then furiously scrubbed away at his lips. Kiba's face paled and he looked down..

"Where's Menma?" Kiba asked looking away from Shikamaru who was still wiping his lips mind you. I shuddered and pointed at the corner. They turned to look at him.

He was shaking and trying to make fire with two pieces of candy. "Hellfire come to me. I know you can here me satan! Answer my call and bring forth your fiery reign" he muttered throwing the candy in the air. Then grabbing them quickly "My preciousssss" he glared at us then downed another drink quickly. "I know the earth is flat..." he kept on rambling. "

"He went bat shit crazy" Shika exclaimed. "Nah he's just a little drunk" I said patting Menna's head.

He growled and swiped at me like a cat. Then the most adorable thing happened.......he sneezed!
He sounded like a baby kitten who caught a cold. He blushed red and passed out before we could comprehend what had happened.

I turned back to Kiba and Shikamaru. Shika was still scrubbing his lips and Kiba was dieing inside. "I think I should leave so you two can talk.....but I live for drama so I'mma get popcorn and be right back!" I yelled and ran out to the kitchen.

Oh course I'm going to let them have time alone. Just 2 mins amd 45 seconds. Which is more than enough time.

Kiba pov
I felt my heart sink to my toes as Shika scrubbed his lips. "I'm so sorry. I swear it didn't mean anything." I blurted out suddenly and he looked disappointed and sad. He stopped scrubbing his lips and stared at me. "Kiba.....I know it didn't mean anything. It's just the fact that we kissed.....made out is so weird. I mean we literally have known each other since diapers. We have been best of friends but I mean......best friends don't make out." he said looking down.

God he thinks I'm gross. I probably am. "I understand.......it would be gross for us to make out let alone kiss." I said putting on my mask. Maru yipped and rubbed his nose against my hand softly. "Hey boy.." I cooed picking him up. He offered a small bark in encouragement nodding his head towards Shikamaru.

Maybe he's right. I should tell him how I feel and be brave. I took a deep breathe and finally met his gaze.

"Shika...we should talk." I said. My heart thumping loudly and sweat starting to produce om my head. He looked nervous and excited but somehow bored.

"I guess I should tell you. I mean it'll affect us a lot.......I" I stopped and swallowed hard. "I think....I know I......like....." he looked at me annoyed. "Spit it out Kibs." he muttered. My heart fluttered.....Kibs. He hasn't called me that in forever. "I like you....like a lot" I whispered.

He froze and looked away.

Shikamaru pov

Shit.

I couldn't look at him. I shut my eyes and thought of millions of ways to tell him. It should be simple....but I can't say it for some reason.

I looked back up and he looked mad at himself. He looked like he regretted it. But if I tell him.......no there's too many possibilities that he could be lying to me. Shit what should I do!

"Kiba....I...goddamit I like you too!" I cursed squeezing my eyes shut. He laughed and my blood went cold.

I looked at him to see tears in his eyes and he was smiling.......he's not lying. Sasuke buslted in carrying popcorn and I just smirked sharing a look with Kibs.

He actually likes me.
