2- Wolves

The bell rung, every teenager scurrying out of the school building so that they can go back home to their families. I sighed as I slowly walked out of the building, saying my goodbyes to Justin. He's in every single one of my classes and he sat next to me in everyone of them. I realized that the whole time, almost every girl was glaring at me when I sat next to him. I just shrugged it off and wandered over to the back of the school building. I groaned when I looked at the creepy woods and knew that this would only take me 5 minutes, the other way would take me thirty.

I started walking and about a minute in, I hear a growl. My eyes widened as I saw a brown wolf, it looked dirty and disgusting, oh and terrifying. I started walking faster, hoping that it wasn't targeted at me, and also not really knowing what to do in this situation. It had beet red eyes and it was staring me down. It started to walk closer behind me, and closer, and closer. I heard their footsteps behind me so I did the only thing I could think of. 

I ran. 

But once I started I felt the wind get knocked out of me and the wolf was on top of me. As he snapped at my face, he was gone.  I saw a pitch black wolf with blue eyes on top of him biting at his neck. I tried to get up and run away, but when i tried to stand up, I fell right back down. I looked down to my ankle and a sob escaped my lips. It was black and blue. I was hurt, terrified, and I realized that this is it. I'm going to get eaten by a wolf. 

I saw the black wolf, bite out the other wolves neck and I almost threw up. But I was more worried when he started walking towards me, very slowly. My tears were flowing freely as I scooted backwards. 

"Please don't hurt me," I whimpered and let out a shaky breath. I saw the wolf lay down and paw at his head, whimpering. He got up again and walked to me, looking at my ankle. He got up to me and laid down next to it, realizing I was shaking. The wolf whimpered again and started to lick my ankle. I sniffled and looked at him, reaching my hand slowly to the wolves back, to pet his fur. I giggled slightly, while scratching his ears as he panted and what looked like smiled.

He kept licking my ankle, and weirdly the pain was going away. I heard my annoying as could be ringtone pierce through my ears as I groaned and pressed the answer button, knowing I couldn't ignore my mother. 

"Hello?" I spoke into the phone while the wolf was now laying on my lap, me petting his silky fur. 

"Where are you Belle? I told you to come home straight after school." I could feel her glare through the phone. 

"Mom I'm sorry, I tripped and well I hurt my ankle so I just went to my new friends house and she's helping me." I explained. I could be a good liar when I wanted to. 

"Whatever, just get back here." She groaned and pressed the end call button. I groaned and the wolf whimpered again, nuzzling his nose up to my neck. I chuckled and rubbed his head, smiling down at him. 

"You're such a good boy," I giggled placing a soft kiss on his head. "I have to get home though, I hope I see you again," I whispered, leaning my head on his. He looked up at me and got up, running into the forest of trees. I sighed and got up, my ankle feeling better, but I still had to limp on it. I started walking back home with no interruptions. 

I walked into my house, greeted by my mother. 

"I told you to be careful." She exclaimed, glaring at me. 

"And what tells you I wasn't?" I asked, curious because I just told her I tripped and fell. 

"You were with wolves, weren't you?" She questioned, looking at all of the dirt and wolf hair on me. My eyes widened and I just rolled my eyes. 

"My friend had a big dog, god." I mumbled, running up the stairs to my room. I groaned and plopped down on my bed, sinking into it. I hear a ding from my phone and took it from my back pocket. 

Hey, it's Justin. How are you after your first day?

I smiled and looked at the text. Wait, what's wrong with me? I feel something, like a pull of some sort. To, him? Oh god. 

Um I'm fine, thanks for being with me btw. 

Oh no problem, Justin at your service

Haha, well I have to go into the shower so I'll see you tomorrow. 

Ohhhh can I come? ;)

Oh god perv lmao

I'm kidding I'm kidding. Maybe. Well bye, see you tomorrow. :)

Bye :) 

I chuckled as I threw my phone onto my bed, going into the bathroom and taking a shower. 

I quickly got out as I heard a howl. Oh god, another wolf. I got dressed into some pajama shorts and a tank top with a bralette underneath. 

~Justin's POV~

You have got to be kidding me. This stupid rogue attacked my mate! Ugh this is getting out of hand, I need to figure something out. 

I wandered back over to her house, following her scent. I walked into the backyard of a grey house with two stories, which her scent was illuminating from. I sighed as I sniffed, roses and vanilla, oh and a hint of brown sugar. I wanted to see her, so I did what I do best. I howled. 

I laid down and started to lick my paw, mind linking my pack to tell them that I went out and I'll probably be back soon if they need me. 

I perked my head up as I heard the back sliding door slide open, I smiled with my snout and stood up slowly, letting my tongue hang out of my mouth, so excited to see my gorgeous mate. She smiled and slowly walked over to me, grinning. 

"Hey boy, you're back again." She said, glad. She bent down and started to pet my head as I laid back down. She sat down and laid her head on my stomach as I was on my side. 

"The stars are beautiful. And so is the moon." She mumbled, looking up at the sky. I laid my head over my back, next to hers, licking her cheek. 

Hours went by, hours. It was about 11 at night and she was asleep on my back. She looked so peaceful. Comfortable. Happy. I had to get up and let her go inside though. I whimpered to get her attention and started to lick her face again, knowing she would wake up. She yawned and stared back at me. 

"Do I have to go inside now?" She smiled sadly, knowing that she should. I nodded my head and nudged her to get up.

"I'm going I'm going." She mumbled, standing up.  "Can I have a hug?" She asked crouching down with her hands out. I ran up to her and jumped up, my paws on her shoulders as she hugged me back. I jumped down and she stood up. 

"I'll see you soon," She said walking into her house, disappearing from my view. 

I ran back to the pack house, needing to go and get some sleep. Once I walked back into my room, in human form, there was a note on my bed. 

I'm going to get the ones you love most.
