when he saw the way i reacted, he tried to defuse the situation by explaining himself. "your dad didn't want us together and he swore to me that i'd never see you again. what was i supposed to think?"
"but i told you." i bit down on my lip hard to prevent myself from crying. but it was no use. the tears were coming along with my sobs. "i told you i would find a way to come back to you."
"you were seventeen..." he started, but i raised a hand to stop him.
"do you love her?".

i haven't written for this story in ages, and now im suddenly about to post a bunch of chapters. but just read them at your own pace guys. don't mind me.
im also going to try to update "helpless" which is jungkook's story in the series.
