"you don't sound too pleased." i pouted.
he crinkled up his nose. "they'll overwork you like an idol. you'll never get a moment of peace." he got frustrated just thinking about it. "you've seen how hard i have to bust my ass to come and see you."
i couldn't help but smile at that too. how much of an effort he put into being able to see me almost every night.
"there just wouldn't be enough time in the day." he added with disdain at the thought.
"what are you trying to say?" i asked him, my smile still on my lips.
he rolled his eyes. the last thing he wanted was to be sappy. "you know what i mean."

also, on a side note of my personal life...im kinda pissed off because i was supposed to get my check today. but apparently the truck that delivers them to my work place was delayed. so i couldnt get it today.
i couldn't deposit my check. i have stuff to pay.
