Politicians are Liars

In life, what are the two things you never talk about, unless you want to offend someome? The answer is simple, religion and politics. It turns out, my dad lied about my mom being a politician, and he also lied about our religion, or you could say; The truth...

So, heyyyyy, I'm Angelina, a totally normally 16 year old, still waiting for my pet owl, (yes, I have a pet owl) Hedeewig to come flying through my bedroom window, my Hogwarts letter in - beak. Don't judge me! I have a very active imagination. Which surprisingly helps me in school, although my dad says it's just natural wisdom. I doubt it, but, who really cares (don't tell my dad I said that.) Something else my dad cares about, that I don't, is my lack of friends. So, what if my entire school portrays me as weird and socially awkward. Why would you judge someone for playing make believe with Harry Potter and owning a pet owl. Like seriously people, grow up!! If only they knew the truth about me, which I, sadly, discovered last sunday.

So my day started like this, I woke up at 7 O clock in the morning, this lady simply cannot sleep in. I slipped on my almost skin-tight hot pink (or magenta) t-shirt, and my grey leather jacket which I would not accept is too small for me. My grey short shorts with wholes made special from my magic ripping and tearing abilities. I jumped into my pink socks and some somewhat new black and white sneakers. Just before I left to go for breakfast I grabbed the Canada 150 hat, my mom (assumingly) sent to me from ottawa, and shoved it over my long wavy black hair.

I ran downstairs to the kitchen expecting my father to be sitting there drinking his cofee, but, he wasn't there (duh duh dun!!) Asuming that he's still asleep, I shouted, "Dad!" I had too wake him up! I couldn't make my own breakfast! "Dad, I'm up!" I waited for a reply, "Dad?" That's weird, I thought, Dad never leaves, especially when I'm home. I felt like a detective, scouring my home for clues, or a dad. I had to get to the bottom of this (#problemoftheyear2017.) I ran upstairs and jumped onto my dad's bed expecting to find him lying in pain, sadly, he wasn't. But, I did find something, a note. It read:

Hey, it's me, Dad

There's a note on the table that explains everything, just, be careful. I wrote this because I know ur 2 blind see the real note. So, yeah.

Pfft, I am not too blind, I already knew it was there, I just, didn't read it, I geuss...
But, something was confusing me, why would it say "be carful," OMG!!! Mabey Voldemorts coming to attack me and the note on the counter was my Hogwarts letter! The suspense! So. Much. Suspense!!! I raced downstairs not exactly thinking about the careful part, so I may of tripped a little on my way down.

Once I got to the kitchen, there was a note, but it was written on a napkin, and seemed a little burnt. Mabey Hogwarts was going into debt? They needed to save money, yes, yeah, the burnt part doesn't matter. I took a deep breath and read the ever so dramatic looking letter.

Honey, as I want you to know you don't have much time. Read this note, and find Argus waiting in the garage he'll take you to Camp Half-Blood, a safe training camp for demigods, like you. So, your mom, she's not really a politician she's something bigger, better than that she's really a-

I heard a loud smashing upstairs followed by the sound of galloping horses. I shoved the letter in my pants. Why does suspense always creep up on me like this? Well, not exactly like this but- you know what I mean. I was petrified, I stood there scared. My bones were rattling my palms were getting all sweaty. Then I recalled the letter, meet Argus in the garage.

Running the fastest I've ever ran before. I ran through the house to the garage door.
