this is me

It has been a while since I last talked to Klaus . I can't be with him anymore , he has been with me for the past few months , he had been more than awesome , I liked being with him , he makes me feel safe and secured , like everything is just fine .

I heard a door knock so I get up from my place on the bed in my room and walked to the dorm door , yes I'm in college .

I opened it to be faced by Klaus .

"Hello, love " I huffed and slammed the door in his face and turned around to be faced with him and the window behind him is opened even though I remember that I left it closed . I hugged myself in trial to find warmth while I looked at him in a mood like 'what do you want ?'

"Love , Don't worry , I won't hurt you , I'm here to just have a pretty civilized talk , there's something I need to tell you "  he spoke with his perfect accent which just made me want to melt , I loved it and I loved hi.....

I cleared my throat trying to just clear my head from these thoughts before nodding for him to speak . He gestured for me to go sit on The bed and I did so , with all my powers .

Well now I wanna show something be said and then looked me in the eyes and said " remember" and suddenly there was a memory rushing to my head .

It was back then , three years ago when I was returning from a trip with my family . It was the worst day ever .

I was unconscious and Being held by him , Klaus , he looked at me with panic in his eyes and then his fangs shown and he cutted his wrist and made me drink some of it . I woke up suddenly and he just smiled a very satisfied smile , like he won the lottery or something and then held me close to his chest almost crying , at that time I was confused , I didn't know him so I honestly didn't feel comfortable  being this close to him .

We then heard an ambulance coming our way so he looked me I'm the eye and told me to forget then he disappeared.

I looked at him shock as he stood there waiting for me to restore my memory.

"It was you , how I miracally got out of that accident" I said and he looked at me nodding slowly.

"But why , why did you save me out of all people , why not one of my family?" I asked and suddenly looking me in the eyes was such a very hard thing to do . He kept looking around avoiding eye contact in every way possible . Suddenly I gathered the courage and utter my hand under his chin to make him look up at me , when he did , hes eyes were filled with tears , it sucked honestly to see him crying , it made me feel bad somehow.

I looked up at him then looked around just trying to think of what to do next  but he stopped my thoughts by speaking.

"I knew you , since you was a kid , somehow I couldn't stop myself from making you my top priority , I kept following you everywhere, somehow I only wanted to make sure you're okay , that night I couldn't help myself but save you , I had to show myself to you , I had to save you , I was the happiest person on earth when I heard your heartbeat rate increase again indicating that you're getting better , I saw you grow up every day turning into this amazing lady you are , just perfect , six months ago , I saw you once again in trouble, I stepped in but this time I decided it would be better that you actually know me , I kept the secret from you each single moment and I was dying inside knowing that you're not in it with me and I'm deceiving you , I had to tell you , I had to have you know this , I know it could ruin us but I had to tell you . " Once he finished we stayed in deep silence for too long . I was trying to process what he had just say . Somehow I felt like he meant it all , I really felt like i meant something for him , I'm 23 years old I'm pretty sure it was tough to look after me all this time .

"Can I show you something ?" He asked suddenly breaking the silence. I nodded hestiatly and he offered me his hands waiting for me to put my hands into his but I decided against it, I became worried.

"Trust me" he said looking me in the eye , this time it was something about the way he looked that made me put my hands in his .

"Close your eyes " he said and I nodded while doing so.

"Open your mind " he said and I cleared my mind accepting whatever he's trying to do.

I opened my eyes  to see myself standing in a garden and it took me a while to recognise it as that Garden that I had always went to when I was younger .

"It's my childhood secret place " I squealed happily looking at him., I haven't came here in ages .

"So we are in my mind now ?" I asked him as he nodded smiling at my sudden shift of moods.

"I remember when you fell here once , I went and told you're mum to come and take care of you." He said and suddenly my eyes fell on my leg , on that cut in specific , they said it was dangerous and if my mom didn't came to help me I wouldn't have made it .

"Second time " I said and he smiled nodding.  He saved me so many times and I had to admit I'm a trouble maker , always have ,always will.

"I just want you to know that this is me , you changed me , this is who I want to be , I don't drink blood from humans anymore I always drink from a blood bag , to survive nothing else , I love you , remember this guy who helped you out of this hell valley six months ago , or the one who stopped a lady from crashing , remember me , remember our funny moments our little things that we did together, how I held your hand and how I kissed you , how I would ask you out for dates after we were practically living together , this is me , I'm not who you think I am , no one is perfect , this is my imperfection , if you won't accept it I promise that I'll always look after you , no matter where I am or what happens" he finished his speach looking me in the eyes , fairly close to m'body .

I pulled my hands out of his and hugged him , a very tight hug , I can't believe I ever said no to him , he's literally perfect , plus , he could always save me , no matter what.

"You're excatly who i think you are " I said as he smiled against my shoulder hugging me so tight .

He took me out of his embrace and looked me in the eyes " oh , love , I can't believe this " he said letting a few tears fall from his eyes .

"I love you" I said and he looked at me with that winning award look , like he can't believe I'm actually in front of him , he crashed my lips to his kissing me so deeply and literally nothing could go wrong now.

He separated our lips and I looked at him in hops to hears those three words. Coming out of his mouth .

"I love you too " he said later making my head shoot up towards him as I smiled and snuggled up against him.

"Here , i want to give you something " he said grabbing my attention making me look up at him .

He got out a necklace from his pocket and handed it to me , I looked at it and it was more than adorable, it looked awesome.

"Is this for me ?" I asked as he nodded .

"Of course,it is ,love " he said handing it to me , I must admit it must have some kind of a meaning but it still looks adorable.

This day couldn't get any better , I loved everything about him , they way his hand would held mine . They way his eyes would look to mine , he didn't ever made me feel used or any of that , he makes me feel precious , so precious .

This night we spent it on my dorm bed hugging each and cuddling , sharing some old memories of my childhood which he obviously knew all about . It was Unforgettable .
