"Allison!"
"Peter"
"Michelle!"
I stay on the tree, I have to wait for the second wave, before I can look on land safely.
"Help! Someone! Help! Please!" A voice is heard, I think I recognize it. I get down, like my mother said; even if it's the last we do. So I direct myself to the voice, limping, since it still hurts.
"Help!" I reach the voice, someone is burried down a couple of leaves. I quickly take them off. "Dad?"
"Michelle!" I hug her tightly. She's not seriously injured, thanks that she remained on the pool, but her hand was stuck to a wire preventing her to leave. "Do you have any pain?"
"No, i'm okay." She says and starts crying.
"Michelle, we've got to return to the tree." I command.
"A t-tree? But..." She sobs.
"Now!" I grab her hand, and walk as fast as I can towards the tree, and we climb once again.
"P-peter and mom?"
"I don't know, sweetie... But We'll look for them." I say as I stroke her hair softly.
"Shouldn't we be looking for them? Like on the floor?" She questions.
"No, no. We can't."
"Why?" She interrogates me. Her face is full with small bruises and tears.
"We have to wait for the second wave."
"How do you know so much about it, dad?" She looks desperately at the water below us.
"Sweetie... This is too familiar for me."
"What do you mean, dad?"
"I came to Thailand as a kid, Michelle. Where your grandma and uncles and me, lived a tsunami. You remember it? The one you read about it, of 2004." I tell her as simple as I can.
"W-why did we come here then?"
"Your mom doesn't know, and she really wanted to come." A tear falls from my eyes.
"Dad..." she cries pressuring her face against my chest.
"We're going to find them." I say, as I see the round two I waited pass below us. I close my eyes. "Mom..."
