This isn't a chapter. I have a pretty long playlist that I listen to almost every time l work on Ashes, Ashes or need inspiration for it.

Lea Michele's debut album, Louder, is the album I listened to the most while plotting out Ashes, Ashes. All of the songs, especially On My Way, Burn with You, Cue the Rain, If You Say So, and Battlefield heavily influenced the events of the chapters leading to the end and the end of Ashes, Ashes. Lea and Abbi are going through very similar situations and I see that in Lea's album. So if you wanna try and figure out what might happen to Abbi, listen to her album. Comment  if you have any ideas of the ending!

All Around Me by Flyleaf, both acoustic and not, remind me of the raw emotions Abbi felt when she found out about Nathan dying.

Ashes, Ashes by Breanna Lynn gave me the name for this novel. When I first listened to it, Ashes, Ashes (at that time it was named 'story that might actually work', because I'm bad at actually finishing stories) was at about chapter 4 and I'd been stuck for a long time. I listened to this song, and Abbi just kind of opened up to me from then on; I wrote so much that day and that song really shaped how Ashes, Ashes is.

All Too Well by Taylor Swift. I have this high, sometimes depressing imagination. I was obsessed with this song and didn't stop listening to it for a very long time. My mind decided to conjure up this idea of how a girl wrote this song after her boyfriend died. "Cause here we are again on that little town street, you almost ran the red, cause you were looking over me. Wind in my hair, I was there, I remember it all too well,". That line really had me thinking. What if he didn't "almost run the red"? What if he actually did run the red and get into a car crash?

There's some spoilers for the rest of the book in the reasons why these next few songs remind me of Ashes, Ashes, so I'm just going to put the song title and artist,

Burning Bridges, both acoustic and not, by OneRepublic

Feel Again also by OneRepublic

How To Save A Life by The Fray

Heaven Forbid by The Fray

The Last Time by Taylor Swift

Fifteen and I Almost Do by Taylor Swift are new additions to my Ashes, Ashes playlist. There isn't really a solid reason as to why they're on my playlist, they just are.

Highway Don't Care by Tim McGraw. I think you can figure out why this is on my playlist

Moving along to the 'Maxx Songs'

Maxx is a character you have yet to meet. He has his first appearance in chapter 12 and has heavy influence on the end. There's your hint. These songs have nothing to do with his character *wink, wink*

Theses songs are in his playlist-

Save Rock And Roll by Fall Out Boy

Meant To Live by Switchfoot

Let's Kill Tonight by Fall Out Boy

Glory and Gore by Lorde

Far Too Young To Die by Fall Out Boy

Everybody's Fool by Evanscene

That's all. Hope you enjoyed the little journey inside my head and possibly found some new music to listen to!

Bye!
