It was the night of the ball and I was getting dressed and I grabbed the note I wrote to George. I looked it one last time and I was ready to tell him my true feelings.

Soon I heard a knock on the door so I opened it. I was aspecting  a servant but there stood a red coat. " Um hello. " I said awkwardly. " Greetings you must be Samuel Seabury. " The red coat said. " Yes I am Samuel Seabury what do you need? " I asked. " The king had ordered me to escort you to the castle because of the revolution to make sure you're safe. " He responded and soon he took me to the castle. When we stopped he started to talk. " Mr.Samuel you look rather nervous why is that? " He asked. " Well I'm going to tell the king something before I leave the ball. " I responded. " Well I hope it works out. " He said and took me inside of the castle to King George.

" Hello Samuel you look wonderful! " George said when he saw me. " Well all thanks to you George! " I responded. " Samuel may I speak to you for a moment? " I heard someone say behind me and the voice sounded familiar. So I turned and saw my ex boyfriend Charles Lee. " Ok I'll be back George. " I said before walking away with Lee.

We walked into an empty room. " So Lee why did you come here? " I asked Lee. " I know it may not have been the best time but I still love you Samuel. " Lee responded blushing. " I know you didn't know this but I have my heart set on someone else now. " I said hoping I didn't hurt Lee. " Oh ok I'm sorry for bothering you I'll just leave now I'm sorry. " Lee said before walking out of the room and I guess he left the castle.

So I went back to George and we mostly talked for most of the ball. But when one of the kings servants said. " It is time for the king to choose someone to have the final dance of the night! " She called out. He looked around the ball room for a moment and then he looked at me. " I have chosen to have the final dance with..... Samuel Seabury who is my faithful loyalist. " George said so he started leading the dance.
I loved every second of it until it ended.

Some people applaud us and some people shot us looks. But I didn't care what they thought. I love the king despite other people's opinions.

" That concludes the spring ball! " George called out and soon everyone had left the ball. So I was left alone with George. " So Samuel did you have fun? " George asked. " Yes I loved it! " I responded. " Mr.Samuel it's time for me to escort you home. " Said the same red coat who brought me to the castle as he walked into the ball room. " Oh I suppose it is. " I said. Then I remembered the letter.

" George please read this letter it's very important but read it when I leave the castle. " I said before handing him the letter. I was shaking while doing it. When I handed him the letter I ran out of the room to the red coat solider.
