~ Thirty years later ~
I ran to where George was. He was in the hospital. All the cuts somehow got infected after all these years and they couldn't fix them. I ran into the building and up to the front desk. " Hello I'm here to see George Kingbury. " I said to the lady. " Ok sir he's on floor two room 23. " She responded so I ran up the stairs and into the room.
" GEORGE! " I yelled and ran to his bed. " Hello Samuel I've missed you. " George said. " You're dying George. " I said looking into his ocean blue eyes for possibly the last time. All he did in response was nod. I had started crying like I had held them all in for the months he's been here. " Samuel please don't cry I can't bear to see you sad. " George said holding my hand.
I could tell he was running out of time so I made this quick. I kissed George for the first time in months. Then the door opened. " DAD! " I heard two voices yell. " Winry! Krista! " We both said. " We came as soon as we heard. " Krista said. They both hugged George.
We all talked for as long as we could until George started coughing. We could all tell it was over. " I love you guys. " George said before leaving. " I love you my king. " I whispered. Winry and Krista started hugging each other and them they both hugged me.
I could never get over his absence but I learned to deal with it. I could never bring myself to re marry. Because the love I had with George could never be replaced. I had put a picture of us in the locket and wore it every day.
The end
Thank you all for reading this book. I hope you all enjoyed it. I'm sorry for the somewhat sad ending but I just felt like ending it like that. So anyway.
