Cress awoke with a shock of pain running down her spine and ankle, gasping for breath. Cress soon felt a cold sensation run through out her, then nothing. She heard a deep voice say,
"Cress? Cress can you here me?" "Th-Thorne? What happened?"
"You were injured in an asteroid hit, you got a spinal injury, an broken ankle, a sprained wrist, and cuts and bruises everywhere, I just gave you some more painkillers to help with the spine, do you remember anything about the incident?" Asked Thorne, with a worried look on his face, "Yes, I was in a hallway, exploring, and then an asteroid hit," she stopped, the memories bringing tears to her eyes, "What about my spine?"
"Cress, don't worry Scarlet said that your spine should be healed in a few weeks, so just take it easy," Thorne said, giving her hand a squeeze. Cress was wondering, they had kissed at the palace while kidnapping, such a harsh word I prefer rescue from doom, Kai, but they drifted apart. Cress wondered if he still had feelings for her, he did, now she was clueless, She loved him, did he?
I know I know, the dreaded filler chapter, I've been having a bit of writer's block. It will be over soon.
