Selene's P.O.V.

"Why did you come here father? Do you need anything?" Holden asked as all of them finally turned their attention to the man before all of us, I was still holding on Holden's shirt and refused to even let go...

"She's lovely, isn't she Holden? She looks exactly like her mother" Hearing those words just made it even more worse, I pressed myself even more to Holden's back to hide myself from the view of whoever this man is before me.

"Father you're scaring her"

I turned to Holden in wonder as I just realized that he somehow looks a bit like Holden, just an older version of him and some features aren't that accurate​, maybe because he inherited some traits from his mother.

"It just makes me more interested in her"

"Why did you come here? What for?" Holden asked, almost in a demanding way since I can already feel myself shaking too much.

"Rushing me my dear son? Do you have more work to do?"  He started walking towards the couch as Holden then moved to the side, whereas I'm still hiding behind his back.

"This game isn't going to end very well, they came here not because they're planning to kill you. They're also after Selene"

"Their leader is obsessed with her" His father added, my heart stammered inside my chest just as he said those words... Don't tell me... They're planning to give me to them...

"I'm not going to give her to them" Holden's conviction in his voice made me believe him, though why? Why do they still want me to stay here when they know that they're not going to get anything from me?

"It's your choice Mafia leader, I won't interfere in your plans"

"You came here just to tell me that? You could've called me or messaged me"

"One more thing Holden, be careful, you're now on the watchlist. Pentagon members are sure that you killed their spy"

His father said that while staring at me, I know he doesn't want me to react so he just used Holden's name and said that he killed the guy...

"It's nice meeting you Selene" His father smirked as he then walked away from the house, everyone heaved a sigh and stared at Holden and me.

"Holden"

"You're not possibly going to give me to them right? Holden?"

"I never knew kidnapping you can bring us more problems" I heard Kihyun speaking as he sat on the couch and looked at everyone in quite a worry.

"We can't leave her, Pentagon will take her and everyone knows how bad they are" Jooheon added... Pentagon...they asked that group to me before... If I'm not mistaken they were the ones who gave Holden a scar on his waist.

"They're involved in human trafficking that is why we were never friends with them" Changkyun then spoke, just then I really got nervous.... Holden won't hand me to them right? He wouldn't would he?

"Go to our room Selene, I'll meet you there" Holden ordered but I got torn wether to follow his orders or not, everyone is looking at me with a look saying that I should just follow what their leader said.

"You're starting to treat the hostage a princess now huh? What are you planning to do with her?" I can hear Hoseok's voice inside Holden's room as it's just quite close to the living room.

I hate it when they talk about me like that, it seems like there's trying to make fun of me but also is trying to look very concerned. As of now, my trust is still with Changkyun and Jooheon, Holden is someone I'm sure very dangerous for me to get close to, he might do something to me even if he's starting to treat me well.

"What's more important? The money or the life?"

"Don't tell me-" Kihyun's voice was clearly heard after a short while but he was cut off by his leader again.

"It's her, we have to do everything to save her from harm and protect her no matter what"
