You were just chilling with Ashton on the couch and he randomly started giggling. "What's so funny?" you asked. "what does a nosey pepper do?" he asked you. "What does that have to do with anything?" you countered. "he gets jalepeño business." He laughed and you just joined him laughing at his randomness.
