The Final Battle

Chapter 20

Emma and Tessa came over. We all watched a romance movie together.

"No, don't trust him." Tessa sobbed.

"The other guy is perfect for you." Macy said hugging me.

I didn't really like the movie, but I lasted to the end.

"We should invite Seth, Toby, and Bradley." Emma suggested.

"Why?" I asked.

"Um, well we could play a game together."

"Games are for kids." I replied.

"No, we could play like truth or dare or maybe spin the bottle."

"Emma are you insane?"

"Maybe, but it'll be fun."

"No boys allowed! Only for tonight."

"Fine," Emma replied pouting. "Then what can we do?"

"We could..." I started.

"Play water games." Tessa blurted out.

"Yeah!" Everyone shouted.

"Lets go outside." Macy said.

"No dip Sherlock." I replied.

We raced out the door with a bucket of

water. This is going to be so much fun!

"On your mark! Get set! For Narnia! Go!" Emma shouted.

I didn't even have to move. I just put my hand out, and with the flick of my finger water squirted everywhere. Only Macy got hit. Meanwhile Emma dodged the water by freezing it. Tessa came whirling at me with a bunch of water. I didn't know what to do so I did a back bend out of the way. She slipped and I went after Emma shielding myself with the water. Emma froze the water right as she noticed I was coming. The water just dropped down. If you have seen The Lightning Thief then you would know what I'm about to do next. I moved my finger and water formed around myself like a tornado. While it was whirling around me I all of a sudden flicked it at Emma. Whoops, I was going to have fun with her before I flicked it. Darn, I was going to move it around Emma. Swirling it so fast she would barf. Dang it, now we just have two wet mermaids, and a water nymph.

"Dang Nikki." Emma said. "A bit to harsh."

"Not compared to what I would have done."

"Oh, then that's good." Emma replied.

"That water I flicked at you scared the living daylights out of me." I shivered.

"Me too. Lets go inside."

"Fine with me." Macy and Tessa replied.

We all relaxed at the table cooling down with a cup of hot chocolate.

"We should go downstairs before my Mom comes home." I said.

"Sure." Macy shivered.

I walked downstairs with a bag of popcorn. Showing the bag to them they dig their hands in the bag getting a handful. I stared at the tv screen waiting for the previews to roll by, but in the process I feel asleep.

Morning rolled by, and we all went to an abandoned ally. Don't ask me why. Emma wanted to practice her tricks.

"Emma, why do we have to practice?" Tessa asked.

"I have to beat Nikki." Emma responded.

"Are you sure? This ally is creepy." Macy shivered.

"I agree." Macy and Tessa replied.
