Chapter 4

I open my eyes and look around the room. I hear someone sneaking up on me."Oh hi Emma didn't expect to see you here. You gave me a fright!"

"I have a question?" Emma asked as she was walking toward my bed.

"Well don't just stand there. Explain!

"Ok. So if there are mermaids..." Emma jesters toward us."What if there is you know wizards, vampires, and um werewolves." Said Emma.

"Well there have been a lot of deaths recently."

Screech. Emma and I both jumped at the sound of the noise coming from the door.

"Sorry that I'm late. Mom made me eat toast."

"Phew! It's only Macy." I said.

So when I was getting dressed Emma took over and said everything that she said to me.

"Guys we should probably leave for school it's seven forty-five a.m." I said.

"Ok." They both said together. "Lets go."

While I was grabbing my bag I accidentally dropped everything in it. Including the ice sculpture Emma and I were working on.

"Omg! What is it!" Macy squeaked with excitement.

"It's a dolphin ice sculpture." I said a little sadly. Since she found out what her present is.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY MACY!" Emma and I said together.

"Aww thanks! How did you make it?"

"Well officially I can shape water too." I said,"But I have to concentrate."

"Sweet!" Macy said,"I can only make a hot tub."

"Hahaha!" We all laughed together.

"Now we really have to go to school. It's seven fifty-five a.m."

We ran about one mile to get to the school. Since my mother got a house in the next neighborhood.

"Your late!" Said Mrs. Moore.

"WHAT! No we ran one mile to get to this school on time, and you saying its LATE!" Shouted Macy in front of Mrs. Moore.

"Detention Ms. Jones!" Said Mrs. Moore in a nice tone. Now that is pretty shocking itself.

I walked towards the office with Macy by my side. "What was that for? I asked. Yelling at the teacher like that! Are you going insane?"

"Yep, but it was eight a.m." Macy said.

We walked toward the office in silence for the rest of the way there. When we eventually got there I saw a girl I have never seen in my life. She is probably new to this school.
