That crestfallen look on your face. Dull (e/c) eyes always stared at the ground when school always started. Every morning when Ayano tried to greet you, you'd say nothing. It only left her to wonder what caused your depression. It hurt her deeply to see you in a state like this so she came up with and idea to please you. "Y/n-senpai, would you like to have lunch with me today?" Ayano approached you asking timidly as her cheeks were a light pink. "No, I'm not hungry so your fine Ayano....." "B-But you haven't eaten anything recently have you? Y/n-senpai, you're thinning..." "Oh you've noticed? I'm just trying to look like a super model is all." You chuckled sadly and this made Ayano's heart break "Why?! You're perfect the way you are! There isn't a need to change yourself Senpai! You're extremely smart and beautiful just by being yourself!" Ayano didn't like how this was going, she knew that you cut and self harmed a lot but she also knew that you were going to commit suicide sooner or later just by how you talked. Ayano then raised her hand and slapped you as hard as she could with tears brimming in both of your eyes. "I really didn't want to do that Senpai but I have to snap you out of it. I don't want you to die...! B-Because I love you...a lot actually." Ayano hugged you tightly afraid to let you go as she cried in your chest "A-Ayano please don't cry...I'm sorry for everything I've said. I've just been in a terrible mood as of late and with all these murders going on, it's almost impossible to not feel melancholic at all in the slightest." You wiped your tears and Ayano rubbed your back softly making sure you felt comfortable in her arms "I know and I'll protect you so if the murderer does show up I'll defend you with my life. I promise.." Ayano smiled up at you then she leaned in and kissed you softly. Feeling warmth flutter in your chest for the first time in years. ❤️❤️❤️
