She could only admire you from afar. You were always the type to stray away from people, you absolutely hated attention. But she had just learned today that you both had shared a similar interest. The interest was Cheerleading, aside from the usual home economics class-it was different to see you out here pressing yourself to do something she thought you didn't even bat an eye at this type of stuff. In truth she only did it to cheer on her best friends Takumi and Hinata but now that idea was gone.
She was close to the one she admired the most, but also close to the ones she hated as well. "Alright, endurance practice! Go!" Oboro groaned as the whistle blew and she began to jog the track eventually catching up to you. She glanced over adoring how the sun hit your features. You realized this and looked over to flash a gentle smile that threw her off.
"Gods, are you alright?" You stopped and helped her up as she tripped on her own feet "I'm fine, I promise." "Oboro, push-ups now!!" The coach barked and the student co-captain stepped on her back making it harder for her to do the push ups. After 10, she stopped "You'll never be a base if you keep tripping like this and your upper body strength is poor." The co-captain had stepped off her back as she panted. "Here. I seen how hard you work." Oboro and you sat on the track, handing her a water bottle. "How come you tripped earlier?" "It's an embarrassing reason honestly." Oboro chuckled and rubbed her neck sheepishly "Alright, as long as your ok cause I know how hard they want to push us to be great cheerleaders for this team. You'll make a great base so don't worry about it."
You smile at her and her blush upon her face deepened. "You think so..?" "I know so, Oboro." "Y/n, your so sweet . Thank you for those words, I'll try my hardest from here on out." Oboro stood up and smiled brightly then hugged you tightly. "I um....aside from thank you I also wanted to say something else." "What is it?" "I..I love you. I love you so much, I always admire how you helped others and everything. S-sorry for-" You cut her off by gently kissing her lips. From then on, she was finally happy.
