Chapter 2

"Alright, now i expect you all to have these paragraphs done by tomorrow.I'd like to get to know you all and what better way than in Portuguese?"

The bell rang.

"See you guys tomorrow"

Lauren was petrified.How was she meant to wrote a whole paragraph about herself in Portuguese?Miss.Cabello had gone through over a lot of times how to do it but how could Lauren focus on the assignemet when her teacher was so gorgeoous?

She hurriedly packed her things up but she was still the last one i the classroom other than the teacher.

Ms. Cabello cleared her throat "Um,Lauren right?"

The brunette looked up "Oh. Uh y-yeah"

"You look a bit overwhelmed. Is everything alright?"

"Of course"Lauren said "W-why wouldn't it be?"

Camila gave her best 'i call bullshit' look"Look,Lauren i was a teenager once too..."

"Not that long ago i bet"Lauren said,instantly blushing "Sorry"She looked down at the floor "Sometimes i say things without thinking"

"It's alright"Camila chuckled "Anyway what i was saying is that i was a teenager once too and i know how hard it can be sometimes.I can tell that something is wrong. Why don't you tell me about it?"

The brunette sighed "Okay"

Camila leaned back on the heels of her hands against her desk "I'm listening"

"Well... i'm just... i'm not very good at Portuguese.Or... in school in general,y'know? And i'm nervous about writing this paragraph"

The Latina sighed. The poor girl looked so nervous and she was so adorable "I understand that Lauren, And i hope you know that you can always ask for help"

"I know"Lauren said"Lauren sighed. "You seem nice" And gorgeous. She added secretly.

Camila smiled "How about i tutor you after school?"She walked to her desk and took out a late pass,writing Lauren's name and signing it quickly.She handed it to the brunette."I can meet you in my classroom and we can look at that paragraph together.I want you to succeed,Lauren, i really do.I understand that not everyone learn in the same way.I want to find out how you learn and help teach you that way."

The brunette's mouth fell open.No teacher had ever said anything like that to her or been this nice.Usually they just yelled at her for not understanding things or rolled their eyes "You do?"

Camila nodded, still smiling"I have a feeling that you're very smart Lauren.Your brain just works differently than others"

"How do you know that?"

"My psychic Mexican third eye is never wrong"She joked.

"You have a third eye?"Lauren chuckled.

"No"Camila laughed "Then she dropped her smile "But i do have razpr blades hidden in my hair"

"Oh really?"Lauren asked.

"Camila grinned "Kidding again"

"Well next time you make a joke can you like... honk a horn or nudge me in the ribs or something?It's kinda confusing sometimes"

The new teacher smiled "Sure thing.Now we're on for after school,right?"

"Well, i have cheer practice so i'm not sure if i can"Lauren said with a cute little pout.

"Can't you just ask your coach to give you the day off? If you say it's for school he'll understand"Camila offered.She had been a cheeleader in high school as well.

Lauren shook her head."Not our coach.He always says that if you want to raise dishwashers and gardeners you teach a kid Portuguese-"

"Racist"Ms.Cabello muttered quietly.

"And if you wanna raise champions you teach a kid how to dunk"Lauren continued, not hearing her "So i don't think she'd be happy about that"

Ms.Cabello shrugged "Be here Lauren.I'll deal with coach Racist"

Lauren's brow furrowed."Coach Simpson"She corrected.

"Hmm..."Camila hummed "Well you should get to your next lesson. I'll see you after school is over. And i'll deal with your coach.

The brunette smiled"Okay.Thanks Miss.Cabello" Then she exited the room, smiling dreamily.The new teacher was the best thing she'd ever had.

A/N:How's everyone feeling?

I feel that i should change the subject that Camila is teaching into something else because Lauren knows Spanish in real life and it's just weird lmao.

So, should i change it to another language(comment what language) or not?
