Chapter 6

"Hey Miss. Cabello!"

Camila turned around slowly. She had been up all night crying about unwanted memories bombarding her and was too tired to function.

The Latina found a cheerful brunette starting back at her.

"Hello Lauren"

The cheerio furrowed her eyebrows "Are you okay? Are you ill?"

Camila gave a big yawn. "Nope. Just... Just i'm.. T.... Tired"Her eyes were drifting shut.

"Maybe you should go home..."Lauren suggested.

The teacher waved her off "No, no. I'll be fine. Don't worry about me. I just need to get some coffee. I'm heading to the teacher's lounge now. I'll seee you soon"

"Bye!"The brunette called in her bubbly voice.

Camila practically crawled to the little room and was a zombie as she poured her coffee.

"You okay?"Came an inviting female voice.

The Latina looked up to see a young lady with long light brown hair smiling cheerfully.

"I'm Ariana Grande" She said sitting down and sticking out her hand

Camila shook it "Camila Cabello"

"Are you always this tired?"The girl chuckled.

The woman smiled "No. I just didn't get any sleep last night. I was thinking about... things that don't let you sleep"

She chuckled again "I see that"

She yawned.

"So how are you liking Miami high school so far,Camila?"

The Latina shrugged. "The kids seem fairly nice. Or at least normal. What do you teach?"

"Glee club and History. I used to... teach Portuguese."

Fuck. Well this is awkward.

Ariana grinned. "Don't worry. I left on my own free will. It wasn't for me. I'm happier now"

Camila breathed a sigh of relief "So Glee club, huh? When i was in school that was totally lame"

"Oh believe me, it's still considered lame. But the kids love it."She  assured.

"Who's in it?"

"Well our lead vocalist is Ally brooke"

"She talks a lot doesn't she?"

The woman laughed "Yep. But her voice is amazing. Anyway our male lead is Shawn Mendes"

I could see that.

"And then there's Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane Hansen and hailee steinfeld.

Not surprising.

"Then there's Justin Bieber, Madison Beer, Zayn Malik"

Wow. Popular kids are in Glee?

"And our big dancers are Lauren Jauregui,Harry styles and Madison beer"

Camila's ears perked at that first name although she wasn't sure why. "Wow"

Dinah grinned,clearly pleased at her reaction "We've got sectionals coming up and i think they've got a great dance"

"Sounds like it"Camila finished her coffee. She felt a lot more bright and chipper.

"You should come see  them perform sometimes!"

"Oh i don't kno-"

"Today! Auditorium. Four o'clock. They're doing a big group number"

"What song?"Camila couldn't believe it but her interest peaked

"1-800-273-8255 by Logic. It's a great song. Do you know it?

The young woman nodded. "I look forward to seeing it!"She checked her watch and stoood "I should go. I have some stuff to set up. Nice talking to you Ariana"

"You too, Camila. See you later"

"Yep"

The Latina made her way down the hall to her classroom and walked inside. For some reason she couldn't stop thinking about seeing the performance. She had to admit that she was excited. As annoying as Ally was, she heard that the girl had amazing talent when it came to singing.

Camila also couldn't wait to see Lauren dance. Not in a creepy way. But the blonde just looked like someone who would be a really good dancer. She had the right build.

The teacher never admitted it but she loved to sing and kicked ass at it. But she didn't sing anymore.

Seeing her favourite student wouldn't hurt either.
