Chapter 12

Lauren felt herself pushed away almost immediately with such force that she stumbled a bit.

"Are you fucking insane?!"

The brunette blinked a couple times, but said nothing.

"I could go to jail, Lauren!" The teacher snapped" Jail! For fuck's sake!"

"I-I'm sorry..." the girl said trying her best to not let tears go.

"I don't know why i d-did that"

The Latina huffed and ran a hand through  her hair. "You can't just kiss me, Lauren. It's wrong! It's disgusting!"

"Disgusting?"

"I can't tutor you anymore." Miss. Cabello said.  "Find yourself another one. Maybe one you won't kiss." She huffed angrily and left, looking back to glare at Lauren.

The brunette put her face in her hands once the teacher was gone and sobbed.

I'm such an idiot. Everyone is right about me. I'm stupid. I'm so fucking stupid! I hate myself!

"I FUCKING HATE MYSELF" she shouted. And she did. How could she be so stupid? Nevermind having a crush on her teacher, but thinking she'd like her back? It was so wrong.

"Then why did it feel so right?" She whispered to herself.

Camila pulled her car door shut, and immediately the tears began to flow.

She sobbed loudly and hard.

I'm so unworthy of love. That's why this keeps happening to me! It must be! That's why i got beaten by my first love. That's why my second love is someone i could never be with.

She mentally slapped herself. "Holy shit, second love. Love? How could i be in love?!

But she was. She knew she was and had been since the moment she first laid eyes on the gorgeous brunette. But it was never happening.

"It's all my fucking fault" she said to herself. "I must've done something to warrant this- to deserve this! What did i do!?" She shouted to the sky towards a God she didn't even believe in.

She turned the key in the ignition and backed out if the parking lot quickly.

"Normani" Lauren said over the phone, still crying. "I- I need you. Now"

There was no hesitation before the answer "I'll be right over, laur"

The brunette was now home and laying on her bed, listening to sad songs on repeat.

So far the one that hurt the most was  "the scientist" by Coldplay. It reminded her of what could've been in an alternate universe.

Her bedroom door flew open and her best friend came in, looking frazzled.

Normani closed the door behind her and sat next to Lauren, moving her head into her lap and stroking her head. (Dont worry nothing will happen, they're just friends )

"I kissed her" Lauren chocked out.

"Who?"

"Miss. Cabello"

The girl behind her widened her eyes. "What?"

The other girl nodded solemnly " i kissed her and she yelled at me"

"Well... what did she say?"

"She told me she couldn't tutor me and that- " she sobbed "that it's disgusting. I'm so stupid"

"No you aren't, Laur" Normani assured . Then she muttered. "I'm so gonna kick her ass..."

"No" Lauren said. "She's a teacher, Mani"

"So?" The girl asked.

"She could also beat your ass and send you to the hospital"

Normani slumped forward. She knew it was true. " i don't know what to do, but i wanna help"

Lauren sighed and sat up further. She leaned against the wall. "It's my own fault"

"No Laur, you-"

"It is. I shouldn't have kissed her. I'm her student. It's wrong and we could both get in trouble. " she sighed folornly.

"You really love her, dont you?" Normani asked softly.

Laure nodded miserably. "With all my heart"

"Well then we're gomna get her for you"

"How?"

"I've got a plan" Normani said, picking herself up off the bed and walking to Lauren's closet. She opened it and began looking through.

"What are you doing?"the cheerio asked.

"You'll see"

All Lauren could see was Normani's butt because she was buried in the closet.

Finally she cries out loud triumphantly. "Ah- Ha!" She whipped around holding a short little slip of a dress. It was skin-tight and strapless. Not to mention it was about two sizes too small for Lauren.

But it migt just work.
