Megatron has now completed his weapon of destruction. With the final piece now connected to it, nothing will stop Megatron and his Decepticon followers. He had gathered his soldiers on the outskirts of an Autobot base where the weapon would be tested.
Megatron: Fellow Decepticons! We are about to enter a new age - an age of Autobots being vaporized from this world! the crowd of Decepticons let out a small cheer noise. For eons this war has claimed many resources of Energon to be drained! And for WHAT?! For Optimus and his Autobots to leave planet Cybertron to find a new world where THEY can get more resources and leave Cybertron as a barren wasteland. They must be destroyed for the crimes they've caused. Don't you agree? They then let out a bit louder and agreeable cheering. My brothers, today I grant you the ultimate weapon to destroy them once and for all - Shockwave has been running through analysis after analysis and proved that this weapon will not malfunction.
Shockwave: Correct. The risks of any chance that this weapon will fail is at least 0,01% low as the rest of it will be fully operational without any problems. However, it needs time to recharge by the energy it uses from the Skyboom Shield and Star Saber. But within the weapons system is a small cooling generator that I allowed the Constructicons to build so the weapon controls prevent from being overheated if used too much.
Megatron: Excellent. Now, behold my Decepticon brothers, a Decepticon dropship arrived with the weapon. It dropped the weapon off near Megatron, the weapon that will be the Autobots' defeat! The Decepticon crowd let out a much more louder cheer and some yelled ''All hail Megatron!'' at the same time. Shockwave, demonstrate the weapon for us.
Shockwave: As you wish. He got to work by typing in the target coordinates of the Autobot base. It began to aim itself directly at the base, charging up power for it to be ready. Now at full power, Shockwave unleashed the power it had: releasing a red globe of energy going at high speed towards the base. Within seconds the energy globe made contact and there was a large explosion, incinerating and destroying the base. The crowd of Decepticons let out a huge gasp while seeing how it took out one single base. Target has been destroyed, Megatron.
Megatron laughed in enjoyment since he knew everything was going as planned.
Megatron: Decepticons! Once we have destroyed the Autobots, with this weapon we can make the galaxy ours and and rule over other planets and its inferior creatures! We must now retreat. We attack at dawn. They returned back to their base at Kaon. Megatron smirked and laughed as he knew that the end for the Autobots was closer than they would ever expect.
Meanwhile at the Autobot base located near the Ark's construction site, they noticed that something strange had happened. They lost contact with the base Megatron's weapon destroyed.
Bumblebee: Optimus. Something's wrong! We've lost all contact with Ricochet and the others. Optimus approached Bumblebee where he was operated.
Optimus: What? How? he asked him
Bumblebee: It's...it's impossible to know actually. The signal of the base just went dark after one second, that's all.
Optimus: Are their any surveillance cameras near that area?
Bumblebee: Only two, I'm afraid. It seems that whatever it was put them offline. But I'll play them up for you. He played up the two recordings up on the big screen, splitting them in two separate screens. Everything seemed to be okay but then a loud screeching noise was emitting as it got brighter and brighter until the explosion came. They covered their optics so they wouldn't be damaged by the bright light. As the brightness toned down they both saw that the base was in flames.
Optimus: By the allspark....
Bumblebee: You think Megatron is behind this?
Optimus: Most likely. But...that blast. It almost looked like it would've come from the Requiem Blaster. Blaster, contact Animatros. Ask them if the Requiem Blaster is missing from the temple that it was hidden in
Blaster: Roger that, Prime, I'm on it.
Bumblebee: Optimus, I think that the next target Megatron is going for is probably the Ark. You saw whatever that now was is capable to do.
Optimus: You're right. Contact the construction site. Tell them to deploy as many shield generators they can find so the Ark can be protected.
Bumblebee: On it!
Blaster: Yo Prime! Those Maximal and Predacon guys over at Animatros reported back that the Requiem Blaster's missing. Is that bad news? he asked him
Optimus: I'm afraid that it is bad news. if that weapon has now come in contact with the Skyboom Shield and the Star Saber then his hunger for power has driven him to the limit that he won't stop - regardless of what!
Blaster: Man, he must've lost a bunch of bolts and screws. Wouldn't mind to bust his gasket with my bare hands! he said in a very upset tone.
Optimus: Easy Blaster, he tried to calm down his upset warrior.
Blaster: I'm sorry. I just...my oil just begins to boil every time I see Megatron and that ugly faceplate of his!
Optimus: We all share the same opinions about Megatron and how we feel about him. Right now we should think out a plan on how to stop him and this weapon of his.
An incoming message was coming from Hydra, who at the time he and his team was dispatched on Moonbase two to gather the remaining energon that was left there in order to power the ark
Hydra: Hydra here. We've loaded up all energon on the ship that was left here on Moonbase two. We'll leave Moonbase two as soon as we've started up this old Autobot warship first. Over and out.
As dawn broke, the Decepticons marched forward to where the Autobot base and the Ark is located.
Megatron: Now my fellow Decepticons...ATTACK!!! he shouted out to them, and the Decepticons began to charge towards the base, letting out a war cry and opening fire at the security system. Megatron, himself was smiling deviously knowing that the base and the Autobots precious Ark will be no more much later once the weapon's been fully charged up.
