Ramen noodles & sweet tea, sounds silly but it is the most romantic thing to me.

We didn't need a fancy date,
We just put in a movie & ate.
You always insisted I make it,
Though you basically did by telling me how.
I found it relaxing just you and me in a kitchen.
We danced with no music,
We laughed like it wasn't 3 in the morning,
We carried on in the world like we were married & as if the whole house had only us in it.
But it didn't, and it is still romantic to me.
We were half naked but not in a way of lust but in a way of love.
Me in your shirt, and you in your shorts.
I can still feel your skin brushed against mine when I think of it.
When I taste noodles I don't only just remember the smell but it takes me back to when you and I had the world in our hands.
It makes me think that if I were to marry you, I wouldn't be disappointed.
All because of cheap noodles and homemade tea.
