This phone that sits on my chest as I wait for your text,
is the heaviest thing right now.
It's weighing me down & I don't think I can get up.
I can't breathe, my lungs have collapsed under this phone.
It isn't even a pound but it feels like bricks,
my heart is being crushed as I wait.
Then it lights up as if it is literally lightening up from my chest.
You reply & say
"Baby, everything is alright just breathe"
As soon as I read I feel my bones lifted, my heart beating,
and my lungs breathing.
