ALLI'S POV

The next week went by harmoniously, with people being asked to the dance left and right. Tristan, one of Brad's friends ended up asking Amy - apparently he had a crush on her since we moved here.

Now, I was coming back from school with Brad in his sportscar. Amy was hanging out with Tristan after school, so I invited Brad over.

"Americans don't really follow soccer." I shrug as we walk to the front door of my house.

"Well, I do!" Brad argues.

"You're not American." I laugh, swinging the door open.

"Shut up." He groans, following me in as I grab his hand and pull him towards me.

"Naw, baby, I'm sorry." I say sarcastically, leaning in and kissing him softly.

A loud cough in the background causes us to jump apart - still holding hands, might I add - and face the culprit.

Rachel sits on a barstool at the kitchen counter with a young, beautiful blonde girl in her 20's maybe, sitting beside her.

"Oh-uh, hello." I say awkwardly, looking over to a red-faced Brad.

"Hi. I'm Ella." The blonde girl, Ella, greets happily.

"Hi, I'm Alison and this is Brad, my-uh-boyfriend." I smile proudly at Brad, who mirrors my image.

"Alli, we need to have a little chat with you." Rachel says, giving me a look that tells me this is very important.

"Oh... okay." I turn to Brad, "Sorry baby, I'll call you afterward and we can hang out, yeah?"

"Sure." Brad smiles but looks disappointed.

I lean in and kiss him softly before he leaves the house.

"So, what's up?" I ask casually, sitting at a barstool across from them.

"This is Ella." Rachel says and I nod.

"Yeah, I know." I laugh awkwardly.

"Ella Shaw." Rachel says and my jaw drops. Shaw?

"Wait... what?" I ask, turning to Ella.

That explains the classic Shaw features - blonde hair, blue eyes, glowing skin and gorgeous body.

"I'm your sister." Ella speaks up and her voice sounds so similar to the one I remember as my mothers that I am stunned.

Before I have the chance to open my mouth, Rachel has started talking again.

"She's 27 and lives in New York. Your mother had Ella as a teenager, she was far too young to take proper care of a child when she was still only one herself, so she gave her away. Ella only just found her biological parents but she came to me first to see if it would be worth going to see them. It's lucky she did, or she would've been in for hell." Rachel says and I nod in agreement.

"I'm only here for the day, but once I found out about you I couldn't just leave without seeing you. And I'm glad I did, you're so beautiful." Ella says, opening her arms to me.

"Thankyou." I say before hugging her tightly, "I've always wanted a big sister." I chuckle softly and Ella does the same.

"Well now you've got one." Ella smiles.

"Why don't I leave you two alone for a while." Rachel says as more of a statement to herself before leaving the room to go upstairs.

"How about this house?" Ella exclaims, looking around. I do the same.
