ALLI'S POV

When I arrived back home, with James, Rachel wasn't there. I found a note on the kitchen counter that read;

Business trip today, will be staying overnight
Back tomorrow, Rachel x

"Rachel's on a business trip." I say, crumbling up the note and throwing it into the rubbish bin.

James nods and leans against the counter, fiddling with the brown bracelets scattered on his wrists. I walk over and wrap my arms around his torso, pressing a random kiss to his cheek before resting my head against his chest.

"Thankyou," I breathe out heavily, "For everything that you've done for me. I wouldn't have gotten through this past week without you, James."

"That's okay." James finally hugs me back.

We stand in the kitchen, holding eachother in an embrace for around five minutes when James' phone ringing interrupts us.

"Hold on," He pauses, pulling away from me to check his phone, "It's my mum. I'd better get this."

"Sure." I smile warmly and James puts the phone up to his ear.

"Hello?.... sure.... okay... mmhm.... okay, bye." He hangs up and shoves the iPhone 5 into the back pocket of his jeans before turning back to me with an apologetic look on his face, "I have to go, sorry."

Truthfully, I'm a little disappointed, but I wouldn't tell James that. He's been around me for long enough this week, he deserves a break.

"That's okay." I lie, sending him a smile which I'm sure he doesn't believe, but brushes it off.

"I'll see you tomorrow, okay?" James asks and I nod.

"Sure."

BRAD'S POV

I let out a groan, lying on my bathroom floor with an empty pill bottle next to me. I shouldn't have done that. It made things go away, for a while, but the effects wore off quickly; like they always do. I don't know why I continue to take these stupid pills, the same thing happens every time; I feel like I'm on Cloud Nine for half an hour, and then I feel like shit.

I sigh and try to sit up, only to have my head start throbbing insanely.

"Fuck..." I mumble, pressing a hand to my temple. I'm gonna need more pills, now.

This time, I reach into the cupboard and pull out painkillers for this bloody headache that's decided to burden me; well techinally, it's my fault. But I'm angry and feel like blaming someone.

After downing two ridiculously large pills that should hopefully make this bloody throbbing in my head disappear, I look at my reflection in the mirror. Red, bloodshot eyes, pale-ish face, messy hair, drained and tired look; nothing out of the ordinary for when I take pills.

I reach into the second draw down and pull out my eye-drops; they should reduce the redness, otherwise I can fix that with sunglasses. I raise the tiny bottle above my face and open my eyes wide, squeezing the bottle gently and letting a droplet soak into my eyeball, doing the same for the other time. I used to hate doing this, but by now I'm used to it.

After seeing the redness visibly go down a fair bit, I pull out my phone to check for messages; none. I sigh and unlock the screen, clicking on my camera roll. Maybe this will jog some memories?

ALLI'S POV

An hour after James has left, I hear a knock at the door.

"Coming!" I call, placing my bowl of chips down on the counter and rushing over to the door, swinging it open swiftly, "He-"
