Kai wrapped his daughter in her favorite dark pink blanket, and put her to sleep. Kai closed his eyes and felt his daughters magic surging through her veins. I love you so much he whispers. I promise to love and protect you. I will never let anyone or anything come near you. I'm supposed to put the coven before me, but you are my first and will always be my first. Kai watched his little girl sleep and then eventually himself slept with her. Elizabeth was cuddled under her father.
Elizabeth was reading and Kai was all the more happy. He made sure that no one knew of Josie's daughter and if they did he'd kill them. He sat on the bed with her and she cuddled under him while he was brushing her hair. He smiled at her. Daddy? I had a bad dream last night. Tell me about it he said and she went on. Your coven found me and they wanted to kill me because I'm your daughter. Kai answered back, I wouldn't dare let them harm my little Lizzie.
