I am so sick
Of being the dumb friend.
"You're so stupid"
"She's so stupid"
"You're dumb"
"Why are you so dumb?"
"God you're dumb"
"Don't try to pretend like you're smart"
"You know what that Word means?"
I am so tired
Of constantly being put down
Constantly having to defend myself
Constantly having that one smug friend who thinks they're so witty give me hell
And have all of our friends laugh
Because everyone knows it
Everyone's accepted it
It's just a fact
That Alisha is an idiot.
So we better remind her
Every time she spaces out and asks what was going on
Every time she didn't understand the joke or what someone meant
Every time she asks a question
Because that's her role
Is the dumb friend.
