Kilani admired her self in the mirror she was loved her new hair, and felt as if the style was growing on her . Kilani was feeling good this particular morning and even went down to her steps to get a cup of coffee. Before going down the steps Kilani stopped by Jr. Room to check up on him to see if he was still sleep , and to her surprise he still was. Before making a cup of coffee Kilani grabbed her a water from the fridge and took her pre-Natals from the cabinet . Kilani grabbed her remote turning the television on .
"Goodmorning this is ABC Morning News reporting Live from The Vincent Thomas Bridge . Police and investigators have just discovered a body of a black 28 year old male who has been identified as a Von Black. If you have information regarding this horrific crime please don't hesitate to call Crime Stoppers or the Los Angeles police Department . "
Kilani covered her mouth turning the tv off stunned by the news. Kilani didn't know whether to cry or to be angry . Hell after all he put her through she felt as if being angry was an understatement. Kilani was sad for Jr. Would he have to grow up without never knowing his dad ? So many questions hung inside of Kilani's mind. Breaking her from her thoughts her cell phone started to ring like crazy.
"Hello" Kilani said answering on the fourth ring.
Kilani could hear muffled cries, and a runny nose .
"Kilani , baby is that you ?"
Kilani sighed already knowing who the voice belonged to.
"Yeah it's me Mrs. G." Kilani hadn't spoken to Mrs. G in almost a year and debated on hanging up the phone .
"Baby, I know you heard about Von ." Mrs. G said starting to cry louder.
"Yes mam I did, I'm sorry for your lost, I know how hard this must be on you." Kilani said softly.
"Yes baby it is , the thought of having to burry my grandchild is killing me ."
"Well how did you get my number ?."
"Believe me when I tell you , I searched High and Low to find you but I finally did."
Kilani thought it was strange that she found her number all of a sudden but she didn't brush it past her.
Listen Kilani I'll be down there in a couple of days to discuss Von's Will with you , apparently he put Von Jr in it."
Kilani could sense the shadiness In her tone .
"Okay Mrs.G just let me know."
"Okay sweetie pie I will." She said hanging up the phone .
Kilani went back up the stairs to check up on Jr. He was now awake playing with his toys in his pjs .
"Hey big boy , are you ready to get dressed and head to daycare?" Kilani said bending to his level.
"Yes mommy "
"Okay than."

After dropping Jr. Off Kilani had a busy day ahead of her. Before getting her day started she decided to walk to the Starbucks that was around the corner from her apartment to get some breakfast.
Entering the Starbucks , Kilani noticed a vibe that felt strange.
Kilani suddenly felt a Tap on her shoulder . Turning around Kilani was met by a tall black male and a mixed woman.
"Hello there Mrs.Kilani I'm detective Morris. This is Detective Kate." He said while they both held out their badges to show they were police .
"If you don't mind could you come down to the police station with us , to answer a few questions?" Mr. Morris said .
Do y'all really believe Mrs. G is sad about Von's death?
