Chapter One

Niall's P.O.V ~

This is the end of the summer vacation,the start of a new year at high school. The last year, phew. I don't like the teachers. At all. They're weird and super annoying. But the best thing is that I can finally meet my best friend, Brooklyn.

I just wish that we were more than friends.

"So what do you say?" I hear my mum's voice that makes me look up from my lap.

"About what?" I asked taking one more bite on my piece of bread.

"The Porter's" She sighed. "They're inviting us to dinner tonight, and Carly really want you to come."

 "Oh." I just say. Carly is a nice girl but sometimes she's really annoying. "I um.. have homework."

She got quiet for a while.

"And how do you know you got homework on the first school day?"

"I dunno." I said taking a sip of my orange juice.

"Well, let's talk about the dinner later. Let's drive you to school."

Brooklyn's P.O.V ~

I walked down the halls of school. It feels good because i really like school.

Yes i like school. The teachers are nice except Mrs Williams. She's weird and i can't believe she's still a teacher on this school. Her husband left her because she owned too many cats. You can literally call her 'The crazy cat woman'. When you talk to her she's shaking her head and walks away. Weird.

I unlocked my locker to get my things until i heard a voice i know.

"Brook! Brooklyn!"

I turned around and saw Bella walking towards me.

"Hi Bella! How are you?"

"I'm really,really good. I got a boyfriend! Jippie!" She smiled clapping her hands together twice.

Really? "Wow, that's really good." I said and smiled back.

She nodded. "How about you? Do you have want a relationship with someone?"

"No."

"That's okay. You'll find someone soon." She smiled and tapped on my shoulder with her hand.

She turned around and looked around.

"Have you seen Niall?"

"No, why?" I wondered.

"You don't know?" Know what? 

"He's been with the Porter's lately, Carly Porter." She said while she rolled her eyes when she said her name.

Carly Porter? The rich annoying girl who thinks she can get everything she wants?

"Really? He haven't told me."

"He didn't? Oh, well maybe it's Carly who told everyone."

"Well i gotta go now." She continued. "I got spanish at 9 am."

"Oh well. See you then."

"Bye!" She said and walked into another direction.

It started to be less and less people in the halls. I wonder where Niall was.

Before i went to the classes i saw him walking down the hall.

He wore a snapback, a white shirt, green sneakers and jeans.

He suddenly saw me. He smiled and walked towards me.

"Hey Brook." He said and hugged me.

"Hi Niall." I said and hugged him back.

"So, um how ya doin'?" He asked.

"Good. You?" Well this is awkward.

"Good too." He said and smirked.

"We should probably go to class" He continued.

"Yeah.. see you later." I said and turned my back.

"Shit, don't be so cold Brook." I whispered to myself while walking away.

After the first lesson it was 30 minutes break.

I went outside to get som fresh air.

"Tonight i invited him to dinner to my family.  And of course with his family too." I heard two other girls standing next to a tree.

"Really? What's his name? Something that starts with N huh?" I hear the other girl said.

I turned to them and saw Carly Porter and another girl.

"His name is Niall." Carly said smiling and wiggled her eyebrows.
