The next few days was great, but we could feel the days becoming colder and the wind was wilder each day. "We would probably have to leave tomorrow, there's a storm coming tonight but it will only get worse tomorrow." Dad announced, reading off his phone from Google.
"Don't you think it would be best if we leave now?" Crystal asked "Yeah? I think we should leave now." I agreed. "No way!" Dad protested "Do you know how much it cost to stay a night and I had to pay in advance, no refunds! The next few was free except tomorrow. " Crystal and I sighed. That was dad, always worried about cost, even if it meant all of us dying, but at least we''ll be rich and money is saved.
"Overdose, your stupid dog is going crazy!" Shouted Austin causes us to look his way. Sure enough, Weirdos was trying to jump out of a furious-looking-Austin's arms and barking at something towards the woods behind us. That was strange, Weirdos was usual a well behaviored dog.
As I walked over to help Austin put him in a van, Weirdos leaped from his arms and ran towards the thickened woods.
"Weirdos, get back here!" I shouted as I ran after him. "Firdous, come back!" I heard someone shout in the distance but I didn't listen, my dog was family and I was worried. What if he got lost and never came back? I stopped running as I realized I couldn't see or hear him anymore. "Weirdos!" I shouted, scared. "Weirdos, come here!" I shouted louder. Nothing, only the sound of the wind blowing fiercer and stronger. Then reality sank in as I realized, I was lost.
