Chapter 25- suspicion

After our little make out session we just played around and relaxed. I played with his soft hair as he slowly fell asleep on my chest.

I quietly slipped out of bed and walked downstairs. I stopped at the door and looked upstairs. I cannot face Jake tomorrow I just can't. I will not be able to keep a decent conversation with him, without it being awkward. We just kissed and didn't say anything afterwards and I didn't mind because I didn't have anything to say. I'll just stay away from him. I bet it will be easy for him to forget me.

Lunch

"What is up with you?" Caroline asked curiosity. But I wasn't thinking about her I was thinking about Jake's soft and sexy lips. The ones which captured mine last night. The ones that had me melting in his touch. The one's that-

"Earth to hottie" Caroline waved her hand in my face. Ana once said something similar but she didn't say 'hottie' she said nerd'...

"Yeah" I whispered "I'm fine, I'm just not feeling too good."
"Why?, what happened?" She asked curiosity. "I'm not sure if I should tell you this but... I trailed off. "But what, what's going on?" She quickly asked.
"Me and Jake..." I started
"You and Jake, did he hit you? Cause if he did I swear to god I'mma snap his neck." Caroline stood up angrily.

"No he didn't, we kissed." I said barely above a whisper.
"What?" She squealed, "oh my god!"

"Gosh keep it down" I said looking around.

"What's under his shirt? How did his lips feel? Did he have tattoos? Is he a good kisser? Oh my God was he all over you?" She questioned repeatedly.

"Caroline God, just calm down" I played with my hair. She just kept looking at me expectantly.

"And yes to all your questions" I giggled. I quickly covered my ears as I said it.

 
"Omg! Jake and the guys are coming!" Caroline widened her eyes. "What!, they can't be coming, I have to escape." I panted. I was expecting her to scream but not because the guys were coming!

"I think we're to late they're already near us" Caroline looked ahead. I gasped and looked to see that they were indeed coming. "They can't be, I can't be alone with them. They're more popular than oxygen." I pointed out.

"Yeah well you better think fas- Hey boys" Caroline didn't get to finish her sentence because the guys were already here. "Hey Jessy" Liam smiled. "Hi Liam" I waved. "Sup Carol" Liam smirked.

"You can't call me that" she glared at him. "Yeah well, too bad... I just did" he smiled. I glanced at Jake to see he was scrolling through his phone without a care in the world. I knew he would forget about me, I just knew it.

"So girls, what are you up to" Mason questioned. "We were just- ah-erm, just ah-" Caroline attempted to answer.
"Tell him what we're doing Jess" she looked at me desperately.

"We're just talking about stuff. Girl stuff." I answered for her.

"Oh cute, we're you talking about Teddy bears and nail polish? He asked mockingly.

"No we were talking about chain saws. Is that cute?" I innocently smiled. Everyone laughed while Mason just looked at me.

Phew, thank god school is over. I was slowly beginning to die. Why the hell is school so boring? I'm so bored I wanna go home and watch a movie with someone. As I was walking I saw someone.

Oh my god is that Kelsey? Let me ask her. But why is she coming out of the popular's room? She isn't popular.

"Hey Kelsey"

She quickly turned around. "Hey...well you look different."  I shrugged and smiled. "Oh Caroline and the girls gave me a makeover."

"Who's Caroline?" She curiously asked. I paused for a sec playing with my hand. "She's a friend of mine" I finally answered.

"Well I haven't you or Ana lately" I mumbled.

"Oh yeah we were busy" she smiled. "Oh, do you wanna-"
"No I'm still busy" she cut me off walking away.

"But-"

What is up with her. Something's not right. Well now I have to ask Caroline.
