"The fuck is this?"
Caroline entered the cafeteria and kicked a chair to the corner of the cafeteria but not before glancing at me in Mason's lap.
Oh shit...
I quickly jumped out Mason's lap, causing him to quickly look at Caroline with a shocked expression. Caroline stared at me with a distant face. It's like she's not even here...
"Jessy, what...?"
Her lips quivered indicating that she's about to cry. Oh no what what was I even thinking.
"It's not what it looks like" I tried to convince her with my hands shanking. I can't make it too obvious that I'm trying to explain to her that I'm not trying to steal her crush because Mason's here.
I glanced at Mason watching as he looked at us confused. "What are you... taking about Jess?"
"Nothing I was just ah, nothing" I smiled at Mason trying to reassure him of what I'm not so sure about.
I walked briskly over to Caroline and grabbed her elbow pulling her back to the cafeteria doors.
"Look Caroline Mason was just comforting me" I sniffed.
“comforting you? For what- Jessy why are you crying?” Caroline came up to me and brushed my hair out my face.
"Nothing it's-"
"What the hell is going on here?" Victoria stormed in the cafeteria her red hair waving behind her.
"Oh it looks like her whole family is arriving" Ana smirked stepping forward. "Isn't that cute"
"What the fuck is this bitch talking about? Shouldn't she be shaking get ass with her over skinny cheerleader friends?" Victoria snapped curling her lips in disgust.
What?
"She's a cheerleader?!" I shouted.
"Yeah, didn't you know?" Victoria looked at me curiously.
I narrowed my eyes at her shaking my head. "No I didn't know. You mean to tell me that you knew that she was a cheerleader, meaning that you knew she was evil and you didn't tell me and I was friends with her?"
"What!" Victoria shouted. "I did not know you were friends with her."
"Will somebody explain to me what's going on here!" Caroline pulled on her hair. "And who is this bitch!"
"Helloooo I'm still here" Ana threw her hands up.
"Shut the fuck up!" We all yelled.
"If y'all don't tell me what's going on somebody's getting hurt!" Caroline snapped narrowing her eyes.
"Aww somebody mad?"
We turned to see Alexia in her cheer uniform and pouting her lips. We all glared at get for a few seconds before she was pushed out the way by...
Jake?
"Hey!" Alexia shrieked.
Jake quickly walked up to me and pulled me closer. "Look I know our last conversation wasn't the best but just hear me out ok. I know I'm hardly ever able to be found in this fucking school...but I have my reasons. I wanted to say that I'm...ah, um I...wanted to say that I'm very...very sorry. I know I should've spoken about the kiss but honestly It didn't really mean anything to me but I should've said it in a better way....forgive me?"
I seriously don't know what to say right now I mean Jake, he apologized to me... in a way but it's still an apology.
I smiled and looked up at Jake. "Sure, yeah I forgive you. So do you mind explaining what you were going at the party that put us in lock down for about 48 hours?"
Jake raised and eyebrow at me, tilting his head and parted his lips slightly. "Just because I apologized to you doesn't mean that I don't still hate you."
My smile fell off my face in a flash. His face suddenly went all serious. As if it wasn't before....
"But I do have something else to tell you" Jake paused.
I became worried because this is Jake were talking about here. What else could he possibly have to tell me?
"What?"
