"How'd you think we'd be if we never met?"

Ella's eyes wondered around specifically glancing at each one of us as she asked the question.

The girls and I were all sprawled out across the floor staring up at the ceiling at nothing in particular.

After watching endless amount of movies and eating until we were stuffed, we got bored and eventually decided to call it a night.

"I honestly don't know. We'd probably go our separate ways," Rosalie whispered seemingly in a daze.

"I remember when we all met," Caroline smiled at them.
"It was our fist day at middle school. My mom was actually happier to finally get me out the house after such a long summer. I thought I wouldn't make any friends that school year just like every other one before because of how awkward I was.

Most girls played with dolls while I played with toy cars. I didn't seem normal to anyone, not even myself. That's when jenny, the school queen bee started calling me gay. I didn't really care cause I knew I wasn't. I just found playing with dolls to be stupid.

I remember seeing you guys by the lockers. You looked so cool and fun to be around but I knew I didn't have the chance to even talk to you.  As I was staring at you guys, I felt a sharp pain across my left cheek. That's when I realised, Jenny slapped me. I remember the words she said to me very clearly. She said 'It's bad enough that you play with toy cars but aren't you ashamed of checking girls out shamelessly?'

It then that you all looked at me. I didn't give jenny a response. Instead I tried walking away but she pushed me to the floor and walked away laughing with her friends. I curled into a ball on the floor and cried my eyes out while everybody else pointed and laughed. But before I knew it, I was being hugged and comforted by all of you and the rest is history," Caroline finished with a chuckle.

"Yeah, I remember the other week how I knocked jenny out. Never seen her since," Victoria sighed while we all giggled.

"You're crazy, you know that right Vic?" Erin quired.

Vic leaned back a bit more on her pillow with a mischievous grin spreading across her face. "Oh sweetheart... I've always know that.

I shuffled on the hard tiled floors trying to get comfortable but the ground was too hard. My lips turned down into a frown as I felt something poking my back. Finally I let out an annoyed sound sitting up straight.

"You alright jess?" I heard Caroline's soothing tone and she also sat up with a confused expression.

"Uh...yeah I'm fine. You girls wanna go upstairs in my room?" I suggested with pleading eyes.

"Oh my gosh, his lips are so soft! I could hardly believe it," Caroline gushed covering her face with the pillows.

After they agreed to come up to my room we decided talk about stuff that we didn't tell each other but of course I knew about the kiss Caroline and Mason shared. I'm her best friend after all.

Elizabeth let out a loud gasp catching all of our attention.

"What!" Victoria barked out of annoyance.

Liz looked her up and down a few times then rolled her eyes. "Geez take a chill pill. Any who as I was saying before I was rudely interrupted. What about Marsha!?"

"What about her?" Caroline raised a perfectly arched eyebrow.

"What about her!?" Elizabeth shrieked. "If she ever finds out about whatever you and Mason for going on, she'll bury you alive!"
