+The Silent Five+
~Chapter 4~
Stephanie's POV:
“Fawn get up.”
"Mmm."
"Fawn. Hey Fawn. Wake up."
"Steph, if you don't get the heck off my bed."
"We need to disarm the house before Violet and Monica walk into a trap, so get your butt up." I pulled her pillow out from under her. She slowly sat up giving me that sleepy, groggy, evil eye of hers, she’s quite a grumpy person in the morning.
"If you want it," I paused for effect. "Come get it."
"I'll get you for this." Fawn said still wielding that evil eye. She tried to snatch it from me, but I moved my arm back. She caught thin air. Then she tried to make a growling sound which sounded really fake. I stepped back as Fawn threw the covers off and slid off her bed. For the next five minutes I played keep away with Fawn and her pillow, and the by the time that was all over, and we were on the floor laughing I could already hear Violet screaming.
"All I wanted was the dang Lucky Charms! Oh no! We better go make an ink bomb for the next sucker who wants to steal our cereal! I have half a mind to open the fridge for milk, but I bet there's another little nasty surprise for little ol' Violet!"
I walked into the kitchen to calm everybody down. "We were on our way, but someone wouldn't get out of the dang bed."
Mo rolled her eyes from her position on the couch. She stood up and went to get the mop.
"Get yourself in the shower V; you're ruining the floor." Fawn made her way over to the refrigerator, opened the door a crack, and undid the sting that would release the tension on the ink bomb.
When Violet finally gave up her glaring contest with Fawn and ran off to the bathroom to wash up Dawn stepped in the doorway. She jabbed her thumb in the direction of the stairs then rubbed her hands all over her shirt while shaking her head in incomprehension.
"Yeah, we know. Violet got bombed." Fawn said, gently tossing the balloon around in her hands. Dawn gave a curt nod, as she was turning I noticed a smirk tug at her lips. Silly, silent, bomb happy girl.
Mo finished wiping up the mess while the rest of us went and disarmed the rest of the house.
. " Let's get down to bidness (A/N yes, bidness =). We're running low on supplies, so that means Steph, Fawn, and Dawn; you're on grocery duty. Make a list, blah, blah, you know what to do."Violet said as she came down the stairs.
"Grocery shopping. With them. Can't I go with someone else? Those two look creepy when they're together." It's true. If you go walking down the street with Fawn and Dawn you get a lot of stares. Fawn and Dawn are twins identical twins, but in a wierd sort of way. Fawn has caramel-colored hair and dark brown highlights while Dawn has caramel-colored highlights and dark brown hair. Together with their matching green eyes, you have a one scary, pretty, view.
"Ahh, my eyes!" Both of them were giving me the death glare.
"Alright, alright, I'll go. But you two aren't standing next to each other."
"Fair enough. Just so long as you don't go around showing your butt."
"Sure, bring that up again."
"People, people. I know tensions are high, but I'd like to EAT sometime today. Will someone please do grocery duty." Violet interrupted our argument.
Fawn looked at Dawn pointedly, and Dawn nodded her head. "Dawn and I are going together, wether you like it or not."
"Fine, be that way."
