(Y/N) POV It was the day where I was going to get a companion. I'm always very lonely in my apartment with on one to talk to or cuddle with. So I'm going to get a cat. I got into my car and drove to the pet store. I walk in and see so many animals but my main focus was a cat. I walk up to the person at the counter. "Um...hi I would like to adopt a cat please." I said politely. "Oh right this way ma'am." The man said. We both walked into w room that were filled with cats. My eyes widen they are all so cute! "Pick which ever one you like." He said with a smile. I smile at him and walk around to see all the cats. They all circled around me. I am screaming inside. I kneel down to their level and pet them. I then see a cat that caught my eye. It was a hybrid of a cat and skeleton.

(This is how he looks like). He was the same size as the other cats. I walk over to him. "Hey there." I pet their head. They purr a bit. "What kind of breed is this?" I said while petting his head. "Oh that is a monster cat. He is half skeleton and half cat. Unfortunately this makes people not wanting to adopt him. He can talk...at times." I smile at him. "Does he have a name?" I asked him. "I always call him Sans." He replied. "He is perfect." I said and stand up. "Ok just sign these papers and then you can pay." I do as he says and pick up Sans. I buy some food, bowls, beds and cat toys. "Lets go home." He snuggles up to my chest. I giggle. I walk to my car. "Which one? The front seat or the back seat?" I asked him. He meows and licks my hand. "I'm guessing the front seat." I giggle at this. I open the door and set him down carefully.
I then go to the other side and start to drive home. I then parked my car in the drive way and got out of the car. I then open the door to get Sans and the cat supplies. I then walk into my apartment. I place Sans down. "Have a look around buddy." I left to go to the kitchen. I set the bowls down and put the food away. I then walk into my bedroom to place his bed down. (Sans doesn't need a litter box since he is part skeleton. The man told you that).
I go to the living room to see Sans asleep on the couch. I smile at him. I sit down on the couch and turn on the TV but put it at low volume so Sans can sleep. I was watching (favorite show). Then I felt something on my lap. I see Sans sleeping on my lap. I giggle. 'So cute.' I pet his head while I watch TV. I hear him purring. I continue what I am doing. 'I want water. But Sans is on me. Oh please don't hate me Sans.' I pick him up and set him aside and I walk to the kitchen. I get a water bottle that is in the fridge. I drink and take big gulps. I then see Sans walk in. "Sorry about that." I apologized to him. He meows. I smile. "You hungry? Thirsty?" "I'm hungry." He mumbles.
I run up to him and pick him up. "OMG your voice is so adorable." I squeal. "I'll go get your food." I place him down and get the cat food. I pour it in his bowl. I pick him up and place him down on the floor. He eats the food. "Thank you." He whispered. "You are welcome." I pick him up and sit down. I set him on my lap. I start petting his head once again. He then lulls to sleep. I feel my eyes getting heavy and then I drift off to sleep.
No ones POV (Y/N) wakes up and realizes she fell asleep on the couch. They yawn. They look down at their lap to see Sans still sleeping. (Y/N) smiles and pets his head. (Y/N) hears his soft purring. His purrs start to vibrate on her legs which gives (Y/N) relaxed vibes. After about 6 minuted Sans is now fully awake. "Morning Sans." (Y/N) looks down on him and smiles. He continues to purr. 'I have a feeling he is going to be very clingy.'
2 months have passed and (Y/N) he was very clingy. Every time they sit down he would lay down on (Y/N)'s lap, when they are standing Sans always cuddles up on their leg. Sans wouldn't follow (Y/N) if they are in the bathroom, went out, or is changing in their room. He would also sleep beside (Y/N) every single night but they got used to it. One day though (Y/N) brought a friend home with them. "Oh do you want to see my cat?!" (Y/N) squealed. "Sure why not?" (Y/N)'s friend replied. "I'll go get him." (Y/N) ran off to their room to go get Sans. A minute later (Y/N) came back with Sans. "His name is Sans." "Why does it look like that?" (F/N) asked. "It is a monster cat. He is half skeleton and half cat. And he is so adorable." (Y/N) replied trying to contain their squeals. "You should probably return him." Your friend suggested. "Why?" You asked confused. "He is a monster. A freak of nature." "No he isn't. Sure he is a monster but he is not a freak of nature." You made a angry face. "Oh I have to use the bathroom be right back." You put Sans on the ground gently and walked away to the bathroom. Sans looks at your friend. "What is your problem?" Sans asked while his left eye flames to a dark blue. "Oh it talks." 'Did they just called me "it"?' Sans thought. "Look what is your deal? Why are you trying to convince (Y/N) to take me back to the store?" He asked. "Well you are a monster. (Y/N) deserves a better cat than you. Besides they probably got you out of pity. (Y/N) will probably just take you back." They chuckle a bit. What Sans just heard made him sad. 'Are they really going to take me back to the pet store?' He thought. Then (Y/N) came back.
"So are you going to take him back?" Your friend asked you again. This got you pissed. "Get out." You shove them out the door and lock it. "I'm sorry Sans." You picked him up and hugged him.
3 days later
Sans avoided (Y/N) for 3 days now because of the thought of (Y/N) taking him back and only adopted him in pity.
(Y/N) POV Sans started avoiding me for some reason. This isn't like him. He is usually very clingy and loved being around me. And now he is avoiding me. He hasn't even looked at me. I feel it had to do something with my friend and what they said. I have to find Sans. I looked through my whole apartment and then found him in his bed. I picked him up and I walked into the living room and sat on the couch. "Sans why are you avoiding me?" I asked him really concerned about this whole situation. He looks away. I sigh. "Does this have to do what my friend said?" I asked him. He looked at me after I said that. "Cause if it is I will never take you back. I heard what they said. I didn't get you because if pity, I got you because you looked cool and you cuddle a lot. So please get the thought out of your head please." I kissed his forehead. "It's getting late I'm going to bed." I walk away and enter my room. I changed into my pjs. I go to my bed and sleep. I then felt a small weight on the left side of the bed. I open my eyes and see Sans. "Can I sleep with you (Y/N)?" I smiled and pulled him closer to me. I felt him snuggle near my face. "I will never leave you Sans. Remember that." After I say that I drift off to sleep.
