Chapter 27 [ The Solution ]

Will's POV

"Actually, I'd love some coffee, thanks," Luke says.

We all turn to glare at him, "Bro, she was being sarcastic" Chase snaps, annoyed.

"I knew that" Luke mumbles, frowning.

Someone clears their throat, bringing us back to reality. Sarah flashes us a sarcastic smile and gestures to the floor. "Sit down and make yourself comfortable," she says.

"Around a century ago, there was a wolf called Charles. " Elder John starts. "He was the alpha of a very well known pack- perhaps you may have heard of them, they were called the 'Blood Moon Pack' my eyes widen, just like the rest of the gang.

The Blood Moon Pack were the most dangerous pack in werewolf history. They would hunt any pack they could find and kill all the members. They enjoyed killing werewolves because to them it was a game.

They even made werewolf sacrifices every blood moon because of their interactions with witchcraft. Most of the time the sacrificed werewolf was one of their own members. It was sickening.

Now though, it's rumoured that the pack's members turned on each other and everyone was killed or had gone rogue. It was like World War Two.

"He had a family; a wife, couple of kids and he seemed happy but his wife was cheating on him with another werewolf, Jeremy, the beta of Blood Moon Pack"

Wow, okay.

"Charles found them and killed Jeremy instantly. The problem was, that Esme loved Jeremy and she was a witch. She was so distraught and angry she cast a spell on Charles, a generational curse, the curse made Charles have uncontrollable angry which I assume made him the beast"

"But if Charles already had kids before she put a curse on him then how did this generational curse pass on?" I asked, still confused.

"As alpha, he needed a Luna. He was still very young as were his kids and at the time it was normal to marry another female werewolf to provide his pack with a Luna and a mother to his children because death by childbirth was also very common so replacing a mother figure was not unusual, in fact, it was looked down upon if you didn't. He married a wolf called Mary and they had twins; a boy and a girl who passed on the generation curse"

"Okay, this is going to sound really stupid but how do you activate the curse?" Nick asks, frowning.

"The curse is activated through heightened emotions, it's like tension headaches which are caused by excess stress and tension in your body. Has Angel been through anything traumatic?" The Elder says.

We all make eye contact with each other. Yes, Angel has been through a lot; the death of her parents, the verbal abuse she went through after by her own pack, Nick practically abandoning her and my rejecting her.
