Naomi's p.o.v
School ended about a week ago. I was ready to start my summer off with a hangout with the guys. My parents stayed home, like the usual, for this summer. They are planning to go to Hawaii soon around July-ish. I really wanted to spend my summer off without staying in my room binge watching some show or reading the same books for the millionth time. I actually wanted to go out, with the guys, to off like a park, a movie, or the mall.
Okay the mall, no. Probably only for the food. Shopping, probably for like bracelets. Clothes shopping is a slim chance, but if I were to find a friend that were a girl, maybe I would have a thought of going shopping. As I have said from the earlier times, I go to some small shops, pick out some batches of clothes, and head out. I usually don't spend a lot of time there. But you know what, I spend more money and time on books. I could go to Barnes and Noble at lunch time and come out around midnight with a handful-no an armful- full of bags with books.
I know that isn't possible, but come on. There's an equal amount of a chance that it could. Who's stopping me...
I got up from bed and went through my closet. I skimmed through the lot of my shirts, jackets, hoodies, and more tops. After what had seemed like hours of choosing, I finally picked out a comfortable summer outfit. Black leggings that stop at the ankle, a shirt-hoodie that is army green with a white elephant drawn on it, and white converse. I felt pretty good with this outfit on, after all, I haven't even taken off the tags off of them.
Reminder, take off the tags.
I looked at myself at the mirror. Dang Naomi, you've changed. Like, changed with the capital 'c'. I went from insecure girl to secure girl who can choose what to wear now. I mean, it's not like I fully changed, to the point where I was gonna wear short-shorts and a shirt that is visible. It was from the point where I could actually wear something outside of my comfort zone and still be comfortable. The guys helped me evolve to who I am right now, and I can't believe it with my own two eyes that I am like this.
Gotta thank the guys later though, it was almost lunch time, I wanted to eat lunch with the guys and not eat my mom's lunch. Okay you have to give me credit. My mom overdoes the food. Twice the meal I can finish. Plus, I haven't hung out with the guys since school ended. They've been busy with their gang things. I wanted to be involved because I was a member, but noooooooo. Jordan had declined too many times to where I couldn't count. And I've been supposedly 'grounded' from that point on.
I closed my closet door and took a small mossimo backpack off of one of my door hooks and set it down on my bed. I opened it up and stuffed a book, a notebook, some pencils, my wallet, earbuds, a portable charger and an extra jacket just in case. The backpack was not that heavy when I put it on.
I turned on my phone and went on the Trace Ace App. Seeing the guys were at the base, I decided to give them a call. I rang the guys and waited for an answer.
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing.
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing.
Rinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn-
"Hello?" a rough, but soft voice came in and answered. Pretty sure it was Bennett. If it were Declan, I wouldn't be surprised either.
"SUP!" another voice joined in. That's Jordan.
"Jordan you idiot. You didn't pause the game you bit- Oh hey Naomi," Declan. That was definitely Declan.
"Hey guys," I chuckled a bit from their conversation. I can hear Jordan and Declan kind of... muffling an argument in the background. I rolled my eyes playfully and started up a conversation.
