Angela's POV
8:03am
I wake up early sometimes and just think, you know?
Man... i've had feelings for Jack since day one, and seeing him like this breaks my heart. I know what you're all thinking, what about corbyn? The bean.. well we have actually decided to just be friends. We thought we could make our relationship something more but i can't do that when i am thinks about someone else and he completely understands that, which i love.
The day before yesterday I was with Jack when he broke up with Rachel. I never liked her. She seemed like she felt like she was better then everyone else... she was and is still that girl.
I am glad they're apart, i don't know if that's because I am secretly have a little crush, or if it's just because i despised her so much, i guess we'll never know.
* TIME SKIP BECAUSE LAZY*
I wash my hands before preparing the food i'm going to serve to all these people. Same routine everyday throughout the summer. Get up at 8:00... and come to work by 9:00, work for 3 ours then i can do whatever i want.
My parents are super super strict so i have to be that "perfect" child... I must tell you... this life is hard. But thankfully i have fantastic friends that make it easier, like Jack. He visits me all the time, he's one of the sweetest people i've ever met...
Today in Caribou it's been relatively busy. It's Tuesday and Jack usually comes in at around 12:00ish. It's the best part of my day. I'm not too sure he's going to come in today because of how anti-social he's been to everyone, even daniel. Speaking of Daniel.
*door bell thingy*
I immediately flip my head over to the clock reading the time "11:34am". maybe he came in early today?
I soon then look over at the door and i see Daniel.
He makes his way over to me while i give him a quick smile and wave, happy to see him but yet disappointed it isn't Jack.
Daniel: Hey Angela.
Angela: Daniel! hey I haven't seen you in a while.
Daniel: I know, i've been busy with some music things.
Angela: So music is going well?
Daniel: Very well.
Angela: I'm happy to hear that.
We both go silent before i address the elephant in the room.
Angela: So... have you spoken to Jack?
Daniel: Not really... you?
Angela: A little, i don't think he wants to particularly talk to me though.
Daniel: Why do you say that?
Angela: I don't know, i just feel like i make things worse.
Daniel: Angela, Jack never shuts up about you. I feel like he would want to talk to you of all people.
My face goes red so i turn the other way quickly. Im flattered about what Daniel just said but i'm not 100% sure it's true...
Daniel: Can you talk to him? I've texted him a few times and no response.
I turn back around facing him.
Angela: I can try.
I smile and clean up everything as my shift is ending... Daniel watches me closely and then we soon make our way out and head over to Alysha's with a lot of positivity filled in the air.
A/N: okay so POV switch!! I did this in my last book and I absolutely love it!! Just thought you guys should get to know Angela a little.
