Chapter 10

Emma P.O.V.

I get in an army crawl position and make my way to the edge of the roof to see where the boys are at. Once I spot them I get my water balloons at ready position and aim for all three of the boy's heads. The first one I threw was at Brent's head, right as I threw it, it hits him in the center of his forehead. He shockingly looks up at me and then nudges the boys they all look up as I'm throwing the other two at Luke and Carter.

I signal for Claire to get them with the water gun as they're all distracted by me, I smirk at them before disappearing from their sights. I get my water guns ready for battle and start to crawl down the ladder, I hide in the bush and wait for my opponent to come running by.

I was about to give up and get out of the bush until I heard loud footsteps, I crouch down and get one of my water guns ready, I hear the person getting closer and I jump out and start spraying them with water.

"TAKE THAT SUCKER!!"

I stop spraying because I was out of the water only to have Luke spray me back, I was about to run away until I hear Claire call me.

"Emma heads up!"

I turn around to grab the water balloon that she threw at me, catching it I went back to throw it only to have Brent pick me up and throwing me over his shoulder, "BRENT PUT ME DOWN!!"

"Not a chance cupcake."

He laughs and continues to carry me to who knows where. I look over at Luke to see him looking kind of worried yet amused and making his way over to us to see where Brent is taking me.

"Brent where are you taking her?"

"Oh you know we're just going to make a splash in the back yard."

"WHAT?! NO!! WE BOTH GOT EVEN!"

I shriek and Luke and Brent laugh, I was about to scream for Claire to help me, until I hear a scream that sounds oddly like Claire. I look up to see Carter carrying Claire the same way with Eva giggly and trying to run behind Carter to follow him. Luke must of notice Eva and went over and picked her up so we wouldn't lose her.

"Em! They got you too!"

"Sadly!"

We made it into the pool, Brent was about to throw me in before I grabbed onto his legs, making him stop what he was currently trying to do to me.

He tried to pull me off, only to have him lose balance and we both fell in, I come up from the water to see Carter throwing Claire into the pool, I turn my head to find Luke setting Eva down on the little platform in the pool. He set her down and started swimming away.

"Oh no Luke you just can't leave her there she can't swim. Can you go help her put on her floats please?"

I get out with him and go into the kitchen to get some snacks, I was about to open up the fridge until I see a note.

Dear Claire and Emma,

I expect the following to be done before I come back home from work.

Dishes in the dishwasher

Clean up the mess you both made

Get both of yours laundry done and get mine in there

Clean the living room

TAKE CARE OF EVA like feeding her and make sure she behaves.

My eyes widen and I rush up stairs to grab Luke, "LUKE I need you to put Eva in the living room with her night-night and put on Mickey Mouse, every episode is recorded just pick one. Hurry!"
