Coffee

Tanner's key looked EXACTLY like the one in the picture, AND our iddy's were the same! I looked back at the locket and key just to make sure. I mumbled as I read the locket's number again.

"50746.."

I looked back at the key and mumbled it's iddy. "50746.."

I couldn't believe that after all this time, I had finally found my charmer!

I looked at Tanner and smiled. My chest was full of butterflies and I couldnt stop smiling!

He looked at me, sparkling brown eyes and all, and said, "What? Do they match?"

I handed him my locket and his key and said, "See for yourself." I was excited to see him  find out.

He took the locket and key and I watched as his eyes grew wide and he smiled.

"They're the exact same!" he finally said as he looked over at me, his smile brighter than ever. He jumped up and took a deep breath. He beamed down at me and handed me my locket. I took carefully from his hands, and smiled at the precious piece of metal that had decided my fate, and also made me the happiest girl in the world.

Tanner's next move suprised me...He bent down and grabbed my hands, pulling me up and into an embrace, his arms wrapped tightly around my waist. Then, he spun me around, laughing and smiling. I giggled as he spun me, and it felt as if no one was around, only the two of us. The butterflies in my chest seemed to sprout their wings and fly out through my fingertips, spreading a warmness through my body only to be described as joy.

After he stopped spinning me, my feet found purchase on the ground. Tanner beamed as he looked at me. I smiled, but as clumsy as I am, my foot slipped on one of the great oak's tree roots and I fell, bringing Tanner down with me.

My face instantly turned red of embarassment. I just tripped and landed on top of  my soul mate... Way to make the moment last Misty. Ugh, I'm such a clutz... I quickly got up and brushed myself off.

"I'm so sorry Tanner, I'm a bit of a clutz, I didn't see that root there, and-"

"Hey, it's fine. I'm just glad I was there to brace your fall." Tanner interupted me as he got up and smiled at me.

I gave him a shy smile in return and giggled. "I'm sorry though." I blushed.

He walked over to me and chuckled. "I just can't believe.." He sighed and looked up at the sky.

"That I made you fall twice in one day?" I asked looking at the ground, blushing.

"No, wait- you did? Oh, yeah I guess that was two, huh?" He chuckled. "But that's not my point. I can't believe I finally found you.." Tanner said looking into my hazel eyes.

I looked up at him and smiled. "Well I'm glad you did."

His eyes sparkled and the sun cut through the tree branches highlighting his brown hair adding a glorious effect. He smiled and replied, "Me too."

He stood in front of me, put his hands on my shoulders and slowly pulled me closer, leaning forward next to my ear.

He then whispered, "Can I buy you a coffee?"

Oh. My. God. I'd take coffee with that boy any day.

Instead I whispered back, "I'd like that very much."

He smiled and wrapped his arms around my mid waist, pulling me into a hug.

In return I wrapped my arms around his neck and smiled, realizing how much I dreamed about this. The perfect boy becoming my charm... And falling for me. Well, he fell with me, but I'll take what I can get. I've been waiting for him my entire life.

Wait a second....

...My life has just started.
